Nice video! I rarely see anyone wade on the south side of (Port Mansfield) The county put up a kayak launch on its south most side. One day A fan boat decided to launch from this spot and quickly found out that they are able to do so even though it's extremely shallow. Nonetheless, a few months later they took it upon themselves to post a sign that states no waders allowed south of that sign. The Laguna Madre is public. Some Local city officials decided to take ownership of the bay! They cannot do this. Most likely someone with a little cash bribed them or their buddies with the local leaders. So I tell anyone that I see wanting to wade in that area to fish if they please and if they have any issues to call the game warden. State laws supersede any local ordinances. Tight lines my friend and to everyone fishing Port Mansfield.

Of all of the videos showing how to get one of those guys back in the water, you've got the best instructions. No need to overcomplicate (and a lot of people get complicated with it)

Great video brother ! Very fluid with it too, saw a video of one guy handling them super weird and drying up its slime w a bunch of sand and another video of a dude cutting off its barb just to handle it safely. I’m going to a spot where there’s a bunch of rays & leopard sharks so I’m glad I found a great video incase I reel one of these bad boys in 💪🏽

Dude haven’t been to the valley in many years!! My dad side of the family is all scattered around El Valle. Maybe when I go back to SPI you could show me places where to fish.

@@morenoanglers9800 no problem bud....cheers from Canada....I am freshwater fisherman amd tidal rivers for salmon when they run....got 10 acres in the northern Cariboo region of British Columbia on Bridge lake....big kokanee to 10 lbs, lakers to 45 lbs and rainbows to 8 lbs I don't have a saltwater boat and we don't have jetties and piers here I do surf and jetty/pier fish on our yearly trips to the Mayan, Cuba, Dominican etc......going for 2 weeks on spring break to Huatulco Mexico.....got all my travel rods and reels. Just picked up a penn battle 3 4000 travel combo for 229$ Canadian...so in USA about 150....pretty good deal, with a nice tube that fits the reel too....even came with an extra spool which is like 40$ to buy. It will be my 8 year old boys....probably load with 20 lb braid and 20 to 30 feet of 30 lb mono...the other spool 30lb braid and 30 feet 50 or 60 mono leader....should be good
