When I tried removed the motherboard heat shield which covers all 3 of my M.2 slots, to install a 2nd M.2, the thermal tape stuck to the underside of the motherboard heat shield (how is it a heat sink when it's plastic?) had melted to the first M.2, so pulling the heat shield off yanked the first M.2 out of its slot violently and ruined it. Now I have to spend weeks re-installing Windows and hundreds of applications and configuration settings, because I was too dumb to back up my Windows drive before removing the heat shield. Why has no one on the internet reported this problem as far as I can tell? You can't remove an M.2 once it's been installed underneath a multi-slot heat shield that has sticky tape on it.

For 2025 I choose Intel 14th Gen CPU (65W version). It run very cool. The Peerless Assassin 120 SE was an overkill for the CPU. There is no need for microcode update for this version.

dude Im an AMD/ATI die hard and I can admit they dropped the ball...this cpu is going to be overpriced and they are going to have to cut their release price for the 9070 to compete if they want to sell ANY video cards...also the showcase was absolutely terrible...it was embarrassingly terrible

I am more than happy to wait 3 or even 4 years for newer generation of GPU, when they have some breakthrough in technology. I rather have a raw performance 200% boost each 4 years than get new GPU yearly or every 2 years with little to feature to offer.

Do you know if the Intel Microcode update has solved any issues stated in this post? Personally I have 3 PC's (for various reasons) 1 Intel i5 11400 and 2 Ryzen a 5500 and the 5600X. While the 5600X beats my Intel in synthetic benchmarks. I do find that my Intel PC is much more reliable or stable. Good, Informative video, Keep up the good work. Cheers!

Another note as well, How much enhancement is even possible before there's no more capacity to gain on Far Cry. Point is that raw performance could be distorted by a max performance cap in Far Cry. These cards could possibly have a lot more under the hood than indicated by these early graphs. And on another note, if they are giving you the multi-frame gen, might as well use it since it is that big of a boost.

How does it match up against a 3080TI that doesn't use frame gen? that's what I want to know before i drop 3500-4000 CDN. also have a 4070ti with frame gen that I can feel are not true frames. What's the real RAW power of it? Im assuming its better since it draws 2-300 more watts. Girlfriend and I play side by side for the past few years and the 3080ti still feels better.
