On a more serious note, looking back on this, it’s astonishing to see how much of a superiority complex elves developed over humans in this world. This is just one among many examples, but elves in this show act so high and mighty when compared to humans because they’re not “black magic heretics”. Black magic may be bad, yes, but the fact that they lord their lack of using it over humans just shows how they only worsened their ties between humans and urged them even more to use Black Magic.

It will be funnier if Rayla masters moon illusion magic. Imagine if she gives herself a human illusion form and gives Callum an elf illusion form.
