Noble account of this marvelous piece. I feel he’d be a bit more confident storyteller, even with all the emotion around the events he’s recounting, than you show here. And you’re so young! Walter isn’t.

Lovely job with this- a particularly difficult piece and you deftly tapped into the undercurrent of sadness and frustration that threads its way alongside the hopeful and resilient tone. Would be interested to see what you could do with A Chip in the Sugar.

This is really good but make sure you aren’t tensing up your vocal chords. Sometimes neck exercises or massages help but it’s really about where you direct your air. Also try to drop your jaw more because that pushes your larynx (Adam’s apple) out of the way and lets air flow smoother. Make sure your chin is parallel to the floor. Other than that really, it’s nice!

I've been in performance for a very long time and I can see what some may not be able to. You have a LOT of potential and there is definitely a good voice there, but try focusing more on the notes and technic rather than the performance itself. Having too much of a jerk in your movements can effect the voice which makes it more "choppy" so to speak. Also try to work on your breathing so you can hit and hold the notes further. Like I said before, you have a ton of potential and a good voice. I'd recommend some work on the technic tho, but I can't wait to see more from you.

Great enthusiasm and energy but try to hold onto some of those notes and don't rush through the song. also remember not to push your voice and just let it naturally flow because straining your voice can cause issues and voice cracks. great work tho!

Try to hold some more of the notes. Evan has a lot of emotion in his voice and song (which you nailed) but the technique is still there. I got to see tho you did good. Well done

Dude this is so good! I really liked your note transitions and that last long note was executed really well! My only advice would be to try not to take in too much breath too quick when sing quickly, as it can make your voice sound more nervous and jumpy? I suggest trying some breathing techniques, but overall I loved it! ❤️❤️👏👏👏👏
@samosullivan17444 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Your comments are really helpful, I did think that perhaps my voice sounding jumpy and nervous would suit Evan’s anxious character rather well, but I do see what you mean about breathing. Really appreciate it!
@timber_linn4 жыл бұрын
@@samosullivan1744 I agree with your point about Evan’s character, and your vocals definitely lend to the role! I only recommend the breathing practice so you don’t get tired out as quickly when preforming 😊😊 I’ve subscribed and look forward to seeing more from you

Great energy! You have a way of feeling the song you're singing which is very important. However, sometimes the feeling overpowers technique and focus moves away from singing properly. I would recommend you try singing it without a lot of movement nor excessive emotion as you learn how to sing the song on a more technical level. When you are able to do that, add in your emotions and it will sound great as well as appear genuine. I hope this helps and I wish you luck!

You have a ton of emotion and a good voice but it sounds muffled this is a song that you have to be load with and I know you would be great belting it out also try to stop cutting some of the words short yes it’s good for emotion but it can give a choppy feel but overall it’s pretty good
@samosullivan17444 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your feedback, it's really important to me. You're right, I did think some of the words came out a bit muffled. To be honest, I did spend quite a lot of time rehearsing this number before recording and I think it may have worn out my voice a bit. Maybe next time I should let my vocal chords rest before making the final recording. But I really appreciate your advice!
