Heyy! I think I might be late but if you haven't gotten an answer to your question yet, I hope this helps. So, I took it yesterday and for the math section of the test, you'll have to show your work, I would say it was okay but do remember that the 2h goes by really really fast 😭. As for the English test, for me, it was the hardest one, we were tested on vocabulary (multiple choice and fill in the blank), find the error, fill in the blank (no work bank), find words in the passage that's similar to the given word, reading comprehension, know who/what the underlined words refer to. (The hard part about this is probably the vocabs) For the essay section, I can't really remember the exact topics but it's something like this: (1) write about a moment that changed your life, what happened and how did it change your life (2) "people should always tell the truth" do you think there are times when this might not be the best thing to do. (something like this, but I'm not sure) As for the general ability test, it's basically an IQ test; do not take too long on a question because there are 60 questions to be done in an hour. Lmk if you want me to elaborate more!

@@JudyKuy hii, i just did the test today and i gotta say the English tesst is much easier than the Math test. I couldnt get the Math paper done in time and I reckon I lost like more than 25 points T-T. Anyways THE ONLY THING HARD ABOUT English is VOCABULARY like HELLO?? oh, about the GAT test: it totally depends on my faith and luckiness, I hope god help me through this ;-;. Ty for this video =))

hii it depends on your school! i also got some books from my seniors, which saved me some money. i think i spent around 300 SGD on books and uniform (might be more). we had to purchase our own daily items ofc! and depending on your school, you might be required to purchase a personal learning device (usually ipad). the fees are not covered by MOE, however it is subsidized.

Hii I applied for the scholarship for sec 3, so I’m not sure what will be tested for sec 1. You can try searching up topics from Primary 6 (or primary school in general) though. You can also search for PSLE practice papers! Nope, as far as I know, they’ll still test English and Maths. Good luck!

@@blockmc3757 nope you cannot. students get into many schools, so i can't really give an exact list. i'm studying in swiss cottage secondary school!

Yup I did study Khmer subjects! Unfortunately yes, you do have to stop studying Khmer. It’s not offered as a subject here in Singapore because we are too much of a minority.

Yes, the food is free for the whole duration. Most boarding schools provide breakfast and dinner every weekday and all three meals every weekend and holidays. There is a 2 month vacation at the end of the school year, but the airfare will not be free every year. They will subsidise it every 2 years.

Hii they don’t publish the test papers online, but you can try searching for Secondary 1, 2, and 3 (depending on which level you’re aiming for) past examination papers to see what the common topics are!
