Thanks for these, Gretchen! Can you please also do some Book Club recommendations, including from among the classics? Not all great books lend themselves to group discussion. Thanks again! 🌻

In the episode you mention another one about kids holding on their childhood, but can't find it in the show notes. Can you please add? The AI helpline or a search across your episodes could not help. thanks

Love the Three Style Adjectives hack! I’m making the rule for myself to have this in place before I make a future clothing purchase…hopefully to avoid the REGRET I often experience following.😊

So, that group is about ESFJ, ENFJ, ISFJ and INFJ. Fe users at first and second position. And She is a obvious ISTJ. Si a lot, organization, details, sequential thinking, concrete information a lot, she avoid a lot to jump to conclusion without go to the whole process in a very sequential way. She almost don't make a question. Very weak Ne.

I listened to the audiobook bc I wanted to learn how to help my husband to be motivated to work on his projects. He can be stubborn so I thought he was probably a Rebel, and as I was listening to the first chapter I thought, “I’m probably an Obliger”. LOL, WRONG! He’s a 100% Obliger, always working on other people’s projects, often for free, never can get himself to work on things he wants to do. And I AM THE REBEL. I thought I was sweet and easy to work with, but it turns out… lol. I’ve discussed it with others and nearly all of the Rebels in this particular group assumed they were people pleasing Obligers and they turned out to be Rebel. LOL, we really don’t see ourselves and rule breakers and bucking the system, but here we are. Maybe Rebels present differently in women? IDK. But now I need to figure out how to make this work with me being a homeschool mom. I haven’t been doing it like a normal person and I definitely don’t want them behind, so I need to figure it out.

I used to think that i'm an obliger because i cant commit to meet my inner expectation... but turns out it was because i cant see why i need to take care of myself, why i should do things for myself. In my journey to heal and build my "self" ❤

As an obliger, it's tough to accept that I might need external accountability. It's really frustrating feeling like I can't just rely on myself. Does anyone else feel this way?

I can't say that I REALLY know my style. But I did try to figure it out before and it started by noting down any item I felt confident wearing. Once I had a long enough list, it was easy to find out the patterns.

Those knocking this - read Getting Things Done by Edwin C Bliss. It pre-dates computers at work but very simple to follow. A few years after reading the book I got comments at a new office I joined like “you obviously don’t have enough work to do as your desk is always empty.” I would say, “No it is tidy. I get more work done as I don’t lose half an hour a day trying to find things.”

They are considered friends but if you have had deep friendships in school or college, it is rather difficult to call these as "friends".Would you hang in each other's homes or go on vacations together or sleep over in their homes? How many layers or levels of friendships are there? and What level are we looking for?

She’s right. Thinking you “need” to “get organized” is overwhelming to too many people. Just change the thinking to as she suggests and just start doing it in little steps. As others have pointed out, your local vets, animal rescues, animal shelters can use blankets and old linens (towels particularly). Your local domestic shelters can use kitchen items, good bedding, toys, games, for families having to set up who took nothing with them when they fled, veterans charities can often use furniture donations. Before you toss anything not outright trash think who in your community can benefit from reusing what you don’t need or have space for anymore (many times they can even pick it up). Then your clutter-free space makes you feel better and you can also feel good your extra things are still usefully helping others.

Or “ I can’t be bothered to think , so think for me hubby… and then when you answer I will tell you what I actually want and we will probably end up having that lols “ .. this isn’t a fun game for men to play.

Donate clean blankets and towels too animal shelters or rescues.bikes, scooters offer for free, or someone who repairs and donates in your area. Church thrift stores for donations, nursing homes for certain clothes.

Great tips ! I've heard that in order to earn more promotions/money the focus should be to create more Value than others at workplace so could you elaborate on this subject how can it be done effectively without overworking or burnout necessarily as there has to be some smart way to get the desired outcome.. 2) Why is it necessary always to depend upon years of experience to achieve financial growth ? 3) Any book recommendations on this topic according to your wisdom..

You’re not alone. I don’t think it’s driving. I think it’s that all of the sudden we have no control and are committed to a time and place when we may not feel like it once the event comes along.
