New to y’all’s channel. I’m loving it so far. I just had a flower pop out. Will enjoy it till winter takes it Can’t believe all those bananas came from that plant. They produce soo much. If I lived near y’all I would have scooped up banana plant waste soo quick. I do a lot of composting I’ll have to check out more of y’all Peace N Love

Welcome!! So glad you stopped by. We live in an HOA so I can't compost, but I do chop and drop quite a bit of stuff. I try to leave a bit of the banana stalk in place to decay and it seems to be providing plenty of nutrients back to the pups.

It is indeed, especially in the heat of the summer. I avoid the garden from June 1st til September so I always have a ton of cleanup to do this time of year. Our rainy season wakes up everything and the weeds just love my neglect. Now I'm 2 days from full swing start of the season. Welcome to root elation!

Thanks. I already miss the fall and winter garden. Spring is nice but it's the short lived beauty. I'm in maintenance mode now, can't wait for September when it starts being pretty again.
