I also provided them with the outside and inside pictures. The premium costs a little more. However, when we have a claim, they will consider the modifications.

My wheelchair lift extends by itself when I am helping a person out of the front seat of the Chrysler van. You really have to move fast to get the wheelchair and myself out of the way. I'm afraid to drive it in public in case it goes berserk in a parking lot. It's been to Chrysler and our local BraunAbility dealer, but they won't talk to each other.

Our mobility place here is horrible. They'll charge you $95 to diagnose the problem, then give you a huge estimate to fix the issue. Then they'll send you on your way. Takes them about 5 minutes to look at it, but you'll wait 2 hours for them to get to you.

Never load a person in a wheelchair on backwards.. The person has less control over their chair, its scary to be lifted up backwards and feel like you are getting dumped out because the lift has design flaws. I am a person in a wheelchair and have been in a wheelchair for over 40 years. Your lift design is very flawed. Try having your design team going on the lift in a wheelchair and you will be able to feel immediately it is not very secure. Fix your lift design so people in wheelchairs can safely load on the lift facing the front.

What is the mechanism behind the tilting of the ramp??

Do you have a cover that covers up the divots left behind? So the wheel chair that rolls up doesn’t get its wheels stuck in the divot

If the Power Switch on the tower is left on does it put any drain on the battery?

For the side entry minivans(toyota and Chrysler) can there be the option for a removable captain seat to be installed behind the removable driver’s seat, so that the wheelchair-user can sit in a captain chair behind the driver? Can there be a foldable table or a stiff frontal horizontal arm-bar for the rear bench so that the rear passengers can have something infront of them to hold onto?- also, the same for the captain seat behind the driver? Can the foot rest (of the rear bench) be made to extend further and lower for the taller passengers’ comfort? Which minivan has more interior space, and which one has higher ceiling?

2018 grand caravan ramp gets stuck out Reset system under seat on pannel under rear seat! Ramp button there or emergency buttons reachable with seat in place will not make ramp work Most time got to life on ramp when pushing button!! Had to dealer in Amarillo in December still same issue

I bought a used 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan mobility van by BraunAbility last week. Used is what we could afford as there are a lot of expenses involved that insurance doesn't cover for a person in a wheelchair. The BraunAbility van that we bought kneels and has a fold out ramp. This company did a great job designing a van that can securely accommodate a wheelchair. Now we can get my sister to her appointments easily and also just to get out into the world again. I'm glad this company is out there designing products like this.

I used to work at braun ability, they arent what they seem. I broke my ankle had surgery, they gave me 6 weeks of non paid leave, made me return otherwise lose my job then, didnt give me a relaxed job (which I was trained in 5 stations), some are very easy 1. A diagnostics on a computer. 2. A wash bay. 3. Fluid station. 4. Decal station. And they had me inside cleaning vehicles on my hands and knees bending my ankles with steel toed boots. I limped for a month trying to preform my duties to the best of my ability, they let me go. I lost a lot, and if more people knew they might not be interested in buying an expensive vehicle from someone who doesn’t truly believe in what they say they stand for.
