I think this was the moment Jason fell in love with Keesha, Stepping back to really take a look at her,and see's she indeed cares about his grandfather's well being.

@tonig1782 Girrrl! Don’t even get me started on those love scenes they didn’t get, especially since it was the first time for both of them why wouldn't you capture the moment?🤷♀️ I do recall reading in one of those Soap magazines back in the day that the actress Senait (Keesha) was disappointed that they did not get to film on location. I believe their Paris trip could have made for a great prime-time special, but that’s just my opinion, and the chemistry in their kisses felt TOO REAL😊!
@tonig17822 ай бұрын
@Them kisses sure did feel real had to look away sometimes like I’m invading their moment. Being on location would have maybe made up for the lacking scene. But come on it’s the first time I know there has to be some unseen footage.even the bed conversation had me, him thumb rubbing her cheek awake while he bites his lips , I feel it when he looks at her , if that makes sense.
@nostalgiaTV19902 ай бұрын
@tonig1782 I understand what you're saying. It's funny you brought this up because I've always thought the same thing, It does feel like some scenes were left on the cutting room floor, and it’s possible there was a love scene that they deemed too daring for the “audience”.
@tonig17822 ай бұрын
@ there has to be some cut scenes,Keesha and AJ’s love scene let’s me know this, that joint was just sexy, didn’t want to like it cause it wasn’t Jason,but it was hot,they made safe sex look really sexy.That alone makes me believe there’s some Jason&Keesha cut scenes left in some vault bricked up. Sometimes I can’t look at them kissing too long it feels like I’m invading something extremely sexy and private.
@tonig17822 ай бұрын
@@nostalgiaTV1990 wrote this already but it didn’t save. There definitely has to be some super hot love scene bricked up in some vault .Hate to say it but even that Keesha&AJ love scene was sexy with the safe sex and him comforting her afterwards. So I just know they most have some make you blush stuff with Jason&Keesha who waited for their first time and this is what we get nope I refuse to believe this is all that’s out there.just watching them kiss 99.99% of the time I feel I have to look away it’s like I’m intruding into something extremely hot and Super private.still SUPER HOT tho.That pillow talk Jason does 🥵🥵

I really like watching Lois & Mary Mae's friendship scenes. You can sense a genuine respect & affection between them like sisters. And Rena really pulled it off with Lois' critique of Mary Mae's choice of dresses. When the dearly departed Rosalind Cash's "Mary Mae Ward" came out with that red dress on, and Lois' reaction, I immediately thought that both Gladys Knight and Aretha Franklin would approve of that dress in both Philadelphia and Virginia. Rest in peace, Rosalind Cash.

when i saw some of theses clips growing up i thought jason was a neo nazi and keesha was trying to fix him,im lost to why jason couldnt have a burning passion to want to be around keesha or get in her pants more often, i think this is the first time ive seen the bad boy /good girl formula not work, this man should have been all up in her face trying to get her on the wild side |
@nostalgiaTV19905 ай бұрын
@foxyleo3382 I can see why you thought that; when she was paired with AJ to me she was always trying to fix him and build him up. The bad boy good girl formula didn't work cause they didn't want it to. I truly believe there was BTS interference, whether it was the producers, the network, writers, or actors who knows🤷♀️ but Someone wanted this storyline and pairing dead, buried, and forgotten.

@@nostalgiaTV1990 yes to the fixing AJ part i wont like the attraction is there but you still get the "he's a project" for her.Also he was the closet thing to having Jason and her old life.SB doesnt seem like a push over to me especially when covid was happening and him not returning to work. dude had some pull, he played a part.He fit into this character way too easily.

@foxyleo3382 Even though I am a Drusila/VR fan, I understand where you are coming from and I agree. What stood out to me was how the writers did not rely on stereotypes when it came to Keesha they didn’t water her down, or dress her up with a bunch of cliches. She was still strong-willed, smart, feisty, and opinionated but never felt overdone. I also appreciated that she came from a stable loving family well-respected family that was active and important in their community lastly, she wasn't portrayed as illiterate. She liked to read she was open-minded not only did she express love and pride for her own culture she was interested and wanted to learn about other cultures as well she was the girl next door type. Those are the aspects that stood out to me the most, but it's a shame her relationship with Jason tends to overshadow these aspects of her character and what she represented, and I wish her fans would discuss that more. It’s funny you mention Drusila; Senait interviewed one of those soap magazines, can’t remember which one but, she mentioned that she had auditioned for the role of Drusila before landing the role on GH, and she said watched VR to see how she handled her role as Drusila. Senait also stated in that same interview that she was excited when she got the role of Keesha it was her dream job, and playing a 🤎🖤 female heroine was important to the hero, and that she and the character Keesha were a lot alike.
