I grew up on processed foods and over the counter medicine because my parents didn’t take care of us and even though I’m fairly young I am starting to bare the consequences of their actions and I really want to start teaching myself how to take care of myself the natural way. Thank you so much! ❤️

My wife and I are looking for a house to homestead on after being renters for a decade. I like the challenge of a micro permaculture setup and have gone down some rabbit holes on how to do it on one acre or less. One of the houses we’re looking at in Midcoast Maine is across the street from a very rural cemetery (oldest graves 1800s - newest early 2023). I’ve read some things about how chemicals can seep into the groundwater and nearby earth near a cemetery. Would planting nut/fruit bearing trees and bushes be unsafe? Also wondering what deep rooted taller shrubs/trees you would plant to (1) block the view a bit and give your yard some privacy and (2) work to remediate any heavy metals/chemicals possibly making their way towards the land in order to make in ground plants safe for harvest and eating? Salix family maybe? Taller sunflowers? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Wow! Thank you for the Riched valuable information and tips about this Plant. It's just by chance, I had found 1 of this in our yard. Not sure what it was. Curiousity brought me to checked for Plant Identifier Apps. Presto! It's my first time seeing Stinging Nettle Plant along with my other plants. Just thinking, maybe Butterflies or Bees brought it. I can say, it's a Blessing from above that those wonderful insects brought it to my yard. I'll try to grow more of Stinging Nettles for it has benefits and I could share to my neighbors. Thanking you highly once again. More power. I'm Peter from Philippines 😊😊😊

Thank you for sharing about Calendula @The Acadian Garden & Apothecary. I'm curious about the calendula tea blend / decoction you mentioned that you take twice per month to help flush out excess hormones from the liver, I'm curious when you drink this tea, in your follicular phase, leutal phase, just before bleeding or bleeding phase of the menstral cycle? 🙏🩸

I really loved you explaining your hesitation. I’m Newley married and have had the urge to take my health more seriously, so I can be the best wife and future mother. Health was not taken seriously in my family, and I still have hesitations with accepting subscriptions or medical advice from commercial doctors. Thank you for this video!

First and foremost, youre absolutely adorable and beautiful! I just love that you promote overall natural health, foraging sustainably and responsibly, AND include some bodily issues you experience yourself! The info you left out that i would love to have is the type of tea kettle you have and place you go it. People with experience may know such things, but I do not. And im working on a list of things to get when im able to because I would rather work my eay down it when i can than to try to find all the creators and videos again. Also, I love the simplicity of your videos and that you don't try to implicate which way is best to partake! IMO, it helps people keep an open mindframe towards earing healthier as opposed to worrying about the whatnots or which way is "best". And i totslly think that as Americans in general our food horizons need to be significantly healthier! I started the research and journeybat the beginning of this year and realized that our "messy/weedy/unattended" backyard is actually quite lush with things like chickeeed, dandelion, dead purple nettle, shiso, wild onion, and things I'm sure I have yet to discover. Thank you for sharing and everything!

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I’ve a few glass tea kettles at this point, one was a gift and the other was from Amazon. I’ll attach the link in the description of the video, but you may find the link already present on my herbal tools for beginners video.

You can also boil a pot of water and put the jar of oil and herbs in the boiling water to infuse for 10 minutes before letting the water cool down for 30 minutes with the jar still in the pot for a quicker and just as good alternative.

Have E. purpurea in my herbal bed. Been dead heading it to promote more blooms. But you just reminded me to leave a few go to seed. I have self heal and deadheaded it and most of the flowers heads already were seed. Seeds are so tiny so I'm going to save the heads and share with anyone interestes in getting it started. On another plant. I had put in evening primrose and the chickens killed it. Then a lottle yellow flower caught my eye growing up theough a ladder leaning agaimst the deck. It's evening primrose. Gonna see if i can get seeds from that. I wonder though. It is often said medicinal plants show up when you need them the most.

Don't toss your smooth bottom mortar and pestle, i thought my first porcelain one was useless also. So i went and got a rough bottom granite one, making s pulp from fresh cut works better and is less mess in a smooth bottom.
