Hello, I sometimes watch KZbin that reads the original. My child found this book in the library, but there is no KZbinr who reads it. Can I make content to read the original? Only three official books are available in Korea. It will be very helpful for friends who like this series.^^

You sound unrealistic. The amount of victims in real life that behaved just like Rachel out of true fear and fear of bad timing. Search for Elizabeth Smart, she was in public in large crowds during the day with her kidnapper. She never ran because he told her he would kill her family since he knew where they lived.

I found the name of the planet to be extremely annoying to read throughout this book. It really got on my nerves.

I loved the book, Chapters 1-5 I felt seen, because I’ve never met or come across another person who thinks love is just an emotion to help humans reproduce. The whole plot reads like childish talk even in their 30s but you realize that they were talking as adults even as kids even though it sounded out of touch. Chapter 6, well, as an extreme horror reader I was very happy 😅, messed up but also very interesting, breaking boundaries, sort of starting from scratch, so many questions were running through my mind, great read.

It’s about a man who lost his son and now his wife is estranged. He longs for the family he had. The whole story his him rationalizing with himself on why he can sleep with head when he knows it’s illegal. He complains that other people are hypocrites because they went through their own rationalization to adjust to the new world. He was trying to get his wife back. When he realized his wife was willing to play with his delusion the female head was no long useful. Reread the story as him trying to figure how to get his wife back.

This book shook me. I picked it up because I loved convenience store woman and started reading it with no knowledge of what it was about. I'm glad I did, because if I'd known, I'm not sure I would have read it. Wonderful book.

@@darksideofthelibraryso I’ve just finished it, weeeeell I guess I’ve been prepared by your video, so nothing’s really shocked me. On the contrary, everything along the story seemed like logical consequences of the things happening to the main characters. Not to say their decisions and actions were justified, they were… understandable. I’m sorry for them more than I’m appalled. And I agree, this book isn’t a good metaphor only for Japan. Saying this as 32-year-old woman with no kids :) Now I need time to process all this. But reading this book was definitely worth it. Thanks again!

It wasn’t you. It honestly wasn’t easier to read in a physical format. I had difficulty finishing it. I mostly skimmed it to find out what happened and then was mad at the end. 3/5 sounds right for a review.
