This was actually the first DCI video I ever watched, back around the end of 2019. I was looking for a performance of a percussion ensemble piece the other half of Percussion Ensemble 2 was doing in my freshman year of high school (for anyone curious, the piece I was looking for is called _Downside, Up and Around_ and is by Jeffrey Barudin), to which there was only like one, maybe two videos of it that I could find. Basically everything else was just stuff from this show. While _Down Side Up_ may not necessarily be my absolute favorite DCI show, it is certainly pretty high up there, and this video will always hold a very, very special place in my heart. Thanks for the HeadCam, Matt, and thanks for the video, Andrew.

2:00 it would be about at this point, standing around on a sweltering practice field, not holding sticks or mallets or having the quad strapped on, that I would start to question the whole program.

This man deserves a thank you, this is the video that got me into drum corps and band all together. It feels like it was yesterday that I was trying to pad along to this in seventh grade. I am now going into my first year marching and independent group this season. So thank you whoever uploaded this video you’ve changed my life for the better!!
