I just switched all of my plants to the Naked Root pots last week. I bought them about a month ago. Going slow but hoping it turns out to be a positive move. I love the pots. I think they are really nice pots. Thanks for the video! I really enjoyed watching and listening to your thoughts.

I use the same aroid mix, but add a little bit of worm castings and tree fern. It is amazing. They grow like weeds. :-)

@@heyitsme6561 start at the bottom of the pot and build around it or get a smaller piece of wood in place inside of the plastic your building your moss pole in.

Most likely an imperial red. They all say one thing and end up being something else. Definitely in the Philodendron erubescens family for sure. He did good. These are beautiful. 💚

Nice info!. I haven't seen this plant myself in my local big-box store but I will keep an eye out. The water meter can be inaccurate depending on what soil mix your plant is in (an orchid or airoid mix can throw off it's reading). But i do agree with you, it should be used as a confirmation that your plant needs watering, not as your only indicator. Just wondering if all three of those Silver Swords are kept in your bathroom. The one on the right (your left), seems to be doing better than the rest 🤔

@@csbgardening yes they all are in the bathroom. They was all bought within weeks of each other. From same location and vendor. That’s a major point you just brought up. I tell people all the time sometimes it’s not you it’s genetics sometimes. I’m giving all three plants the exact conditions and it’s a noticeable difference. Anyway thanks so much for your comment. @@growingwithshawn we have a ton of standard indoor plants in the nurseries here. The weather is pleasant currently but typically it’s super hot. I purchase a lot of my exotic tropical indoor plants from established Etsy sellers because you will NEVER find them at a local shop. The weather would burn them to a crisp 😂

@@dyfame it’s perfectly normal. Most of the time they have them at the time of purchase. Could have been pest, sunburn, or nutrient deficiencies. Have you ever feed your plant or fertilized them before? Only reason I ask is because recently over the past couple of months I’ve noticed that feeding them once a month has all the leaves almost perfect. My others ones are pushing out better ones but the spots never go away. Just check out for pest to be share and if you’re in the clear, just give them nutrients. 💚
