Yes - This feature can be enabled. The colorvu lamp using custom firmware can be set to react to the detection systems.

Hi Basraz, it's much better on the ColorVu ranges than the infrared cameras. Our team do a 3 day analysis of the scene and what kind of objects are trying to be captured, if it's specifically faster moving number plates or objects we can set the shutter speed accordingly to increase the quality of images in this environment.

@@bashaz8559 Unfortunately, there's no pre determined perfect settings, every cameras requirements will differ depending on lighting available and the speed / angle of the targets etc. As part of our installation work we make adjustments to the shutter speeds, lighting areas, lamp levels and advanced lighting controls, then reassess the difference after and repeat the process again until our team get the desired results. It is quite a process I'm afraid, which does require the correct Hikvision training.

Hi there, the Analogue D1 footage is a BNC Analogue camera, all the rest are IP cameras.

If you wish to view the true 4k image quality from a 4k camera then it should be viewed on a 4k monitor. If you have a lower resolution monitor you will not be seeing the true image quality.

I have an agility 3 security alarm system fitted to my house. My land line connection does not work correctly these days and as such I have decided to either place a SIM and connect it wireless. Do all Agility 3 systems have IP and GSM connection already fitted? If not, where can I get them?

Not sure how much of an impact it had on the results, but in the 4mp and 8mp video the car is closer. It pulls forward about one section of fence closer to the camera. Maybe 6 feet.

FPS depends on the camera type they range from 12FPS up to 25FPS depending on the model. The car is stopped at 20M then a digital zoom applied.

Thank you for this video.. To get the car plate number from analog or IP camera from more than 7 meters.. I think you need use at least 4mm lens Is that right?

Hi there, all these cameras are 3.6 - 4mm lenses depending on the resolution of camera to give you an idea and the car is stopped at 20m away from the camera. At 7m away anything from a 3MP upwards will be acceptable. The size of lens totally depends on the distance from the camera and the resolution of the camera used. You can't really generalise on just saying a 4mm lens, there are lots of variables.

i can read a number plate at 25 meters with 2.8mm lens on 8mp hikvision camera when i zoom in no prob with the right soft ware like amped at 60meters and photo shop 40 meters hope this help

We would say 4K! as 2k with 2x zoom will have a much narrower viewing angle, restricting the overall view. Really depends on what you're looking at.

Hi Christophe, various Hikvision 4k models are used in our installations. The one used in this particular video was the DS-2CD4A85F-IZS 4k bullet.

Hi Tom, the alarms are not WiFi they need a direct connection to the broadband router and as such you simply need to make sure the alarm is plugged in to your new router and it will auto reconnect to the cloud.

That's correct, push notifications are for all events apart from setting and unsetting! if you log in to the riscocloud.com you'll get more options on email notifications.

ok so is there no push notifications for say status changes of alarms? just if the alarm activates?

Hi Arron. Push notifications start automatically as soon as you install the app and login with your details. The email notifications are just as a backup (ie you get push and email if the alarm activates), or for letting family / friends get alerts too.
