Let's get to the heart of the matter of what Calvinism really is. God has determined where every human soul will be in their eternal state prior to them even existing. Man has no ability to choose to Love God. How diabolical. There is no sin committed by man that could be as evil as this act would be. How unconscionable this view of God is for innumerable biblical reasons.

The weight of grief is a kind of heaviness that words can't express. When our first son was stillborn (he would have joined two sisters), I'm guessing the hormones that prepared my body to nurse, along with the mental expectation of bringing home a newborn so depressed me that food didn't taste good, the cares of the world meant nothing, but caring for my two girls gave me a reason to drag myself out of bed and care for them. This was just before the internet came online, but I listened to Steve every weekday for his hourly call-in radio show. For the first month or so, besides going to church, it was the only bible time I had since opening my own bible was too difficult. I praise God for His ministering to me through Steve's teaching.l

I didn't feel angry at God, but I was perplexed and wondered WHY without demanding any answers. After a few weeks I began rereading Job. It struck me that Job was entrusted with this tragedy. God had declared Job blameless, so it wasn't something Job had done or didn't do that brought affliction, as if God was trying to get Job's attention. That's what I asked God to reveal to me. But there was really nothing but the sense that I needed to TRUST God no matter what. And that truly is what I learned. I didn't run away or give up on God, because I had come to the crossroad in my mind that God is real and worthy to be trusted or it's all a joke. I resonated with Peter: Lord, to whom else can I go? You alone have the words of life.

Have you heard Hank talk about Mary now that he's converted to Eastern Orthodoxy? It's disturbing. He says that in the past he had made "egregious errors" in his teaching, such as Mary having had other children besides Jesus, along with the "the immaculate conception" bizarre dogma, etc. Plus, Orthodoxy is different in other substantial ways that affect core doctrine. Hank did a 180 on a few things that go against protestant beliefs.

As a former agnostic, I spent a solid 30 years following and studying world politics. Political study has some similarities to biblical study in that you need to understand the players/personalities, rules and the motivation behind the rules and the leaders. It requires a great deal of time and effort which the vast majority of everyone (Church included) do not commit themselves. So, with that lack of effort and time commitment, the vast majority of people (the Church and Pastors included) are not at all qualified in many areas to properly speak to the subject, even if it were appropriate to do so in the Church gathering. Most people completely underestimate the levels of deception and mind control the beast system has over politics and our perception thereof. We're not just dealing with politician lying and making promises they won't keep. We're dealing with a *SUPERNATURAL* level of manipulation and deception from the " *cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places* ". It's VERY interesting that the guest stated that he is "Horrified and Haunted" at the very beginning of this video. That's, in part, what the beast does through the political systems of this world he controls. But the bigger issue is the understanding that we're engaged in spiritual warfare and politics is key ground in the war where there are few if any truly righteous political figures. When was the last time that you ever heard of a "politician" calling for national repentance and that if elected/reelected they would do everything it their power to glorify our Lord and Savior in everything they think, say and do? I could only get behind a candidate like that, which is why I do not vote. See Ephesians 6:10-20 for further instruction and take note of the utter lack of any kind of suggestions there of political or economic solutions. If we're going to do God's will in this spiritual battle, we'll accomplish NOTHING by using human/worldly tactics.

What does accepting Jesus as Savior but not Lord look like? How does that work out in life? The disciples /apostles referred to Jesus as Lord many times. Separating Salvation from his Lordship seems to be a distinction without a difference.

Dispensationalism is not an escatalogical veiw. Like with any theological framework, endtimes are included. This would be the exact same as saying covenant theology was an escatalogical view. Btw, covenant theologians recognize 7 or 8 different covenants in the bible. How many dispensasions are espoused?

Acts 7 www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts%207&version=ESV;NKJV New King James Version Stephen’s Address: The Call of Abraham 7 Then the high priest said, “Are these things so?” 2 And he said, “Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, 3 and said to him, ‘Get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land that I will show you.’ 4 Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell. 5 And God gave him no inheritance in it, not even enough to set his foot on. But even when Abraham had no child, He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him. 6 But God spoke in this way: that his descendants would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress them four hundred years. 7 ‘And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will judge,’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place.’ 8 Then He gave him the covenant of circumcision; and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot the twelve patriarchs. The Patriarchs in Egypt 9 “And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him 10 and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. 11 Now a famine and great [a]trouble came over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and our fathers found no sustenance. 12 But when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first. 13 And the second time Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph’s family became known to the Pharaoh. 14 Then Joseph sent and called his father Jacob and all his relatives to him, [b]seventy-five people. 15 So Jacob went down to Egypt; and he died, he and our fathers. 16 And they were carried back to Shechem and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem. God Delivers Israel by Moses 17 “But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt 18 till another king arose who did not know Joseph. 19 This man dealt treacherously with our people, and oppressed our forefathers, making them expose their babies, so that they might not live. 20 At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father’s house for three months. 21 But when he was set out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him away and brought him up as her own son. 22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds. 23 “Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel. 24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended and avenged him who was oppressed, and struck down the Egyptian. 25 For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand. 26 And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and tried to reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brethren; why do you wrong one another?’ 27 But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? 28 Do you want to kill me as you did the Egyptian yesterday?’ 29 Then, at this saying, Moses fled and became a dweller in the land of Midian, where he had two sons. 30 “And when forty years had passed, an Angel [c]of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai. 31 When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him, 32 saying, ‘I am the God of your fathers-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and dared not look. 33 ‘Then the Lord said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. 34 I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt; I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.” ’ 35 “This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush. 36 He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years. Israel Rebels Against God 37 “This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him[d] you shall hear.’ 38 “This is he who was in the [e]congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles[f] to give to us, 39 whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt, 40 saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’ 41 And they made a calf in those days, offered sacrifices to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. 42 Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: ‘Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel? 43 You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Images which you made to worship; And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.’ God’s True Tabernacle 44 “Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen, 45 which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Joshua into the land possessed by the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David, 46 who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling for the God of Jacob. 47 But Solomon built Him a house. 48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: 49 ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Lord, Or what is the place of My rest? 50 Has My hand not made all these things?’ Israel Resists the Holy Spirit 51 “You stiff-necked[g] and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. 52 Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, 53 who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it.” Stephen the Martyr 54 When they heard these things they were [h]cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, 56 and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; 58 and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 6 www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=acts%206&version=ESV;NKJV New King James Version Seven Chosen to Serve 6 Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists,[a] because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. 2 Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. 3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; 4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” 5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, 6 whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them. 7 Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. Stephen Accused of Blasphemy 8 And Stephen, full of [b]faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people. 9 Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. 10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. 11 Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” 12 And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council. 13 They also set up false witnesses who said, “This man does not cease to speak [c]blasphemous words against this holy place and the law; 14 for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.” 15 And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel. Steve, I sent you a draft of "Jacob and Esau Two Nations and the Inheritance" a while back without response. In this published work, I demonstrate how and why the two "nations" in Rebekah's whom were actually Israel and the Church, which is exactly why Paul quotes Malachi while explaining how Israel missed righteousness and Gentiles gained it by faith. Jesus told the Jews their kingdom would be taken from them and given to a "nation" that would bear its fruit. Peter says the Church is not the holy "nation" of God. Paul quotes Deut 32 in Romans 10, stating that Israel would be made angry and jealous by a foolish "nation". This happens in acts 13 and Jesus reiterated in in parable form in the prodigal on story. Of course, the elder brother is Israel and became angry and jealous at the "salvation" of his younger brother. You, of all people, will understand this book and appreciate it, I'm sure. Blessings

Right the prince to come in Dan 9:26 is at a later date 70AD, than when Messiah is cut off, 30AD. And this statement of the prince is an addendum to the main subject so he, the prince cannot be the antecedent. So right.

"...they don't get saved because it doesn't change the way they live..." Fuller context below. Devils don't get saved because it doesn't change the way they live. I do not recall this from Scripture. Seems like a subjective interjection. First, where can we find that so called devils can or can not get so called saved. And where can we find that they live. And where can we find that it does not change the way that they live. And where can we find that their salvation, assuming it is possible, depends on how they live. I am not a Calvinist or an atheist. But this is a momentary weakness in argument. I think Steve can do better. Or is he slipping and needs to retire. 1:57 they seem to think that coming to Christ makes no moral demands upon a person. And that it is simply a matter of believing something at some level. But James said in James chapter 2 that a faith that doesn't change any behavior is a dead faith, it doesn't help. He said even the devils have that kind of faith, they have it. The devils believe it so strongly they tremble with fear because they know its true, but they don't get saved because it doesn't change the way they live.

You wrote that entire paragraph judging him because in a single sentence, he alluded to a concept that he has never taught.. I agree, he should have clarified there, but I have listened to him enough to know he doesn't have such a doctrine, and that he's making the reference towards salvation with humanity in mind, not the demons. He's making a statement about having faith without having conviction for our sins. I can move along and not freak out about him "slipping" because the 'salvation of demons' is not what the context is.. He's a human being just like you and me, and he will make mistakes. He's done it before, he'll probably do it again. I imagine if you called his radio program "The Narrow Path" he would agree that he has no idea or intention of ever teaching that demons don't get saved, because they won't change. And, I think he would agree with your assessment that we really don't know very much at all about the matter. Humans on the other hand...

Or, are you just trying to disparage his view on salvation by bringing up him talking about the salvation of demons? Either way you're not making much sense. Speak plainly! steve does not have a clue about salvation or the blood of christ that paid for our salvation. steve says if we are not submitted to "christ as our king" we are not saved. steve also teaches that neither he nor any christian is perfect and sinless. this is a contradiction. sin = the breaking of Gods law....ANY law that jesus, the aposiyles or the old testiment gives with the exception being circumcision, dietary laws and sabbaths. repenting of sin = keeping Gods laws. James 1:10 says if we keep all of Gods laws except ONE we are guilty of ALL!, this means if I break ANY of Gods laws Jesus is NOT my king according to steve. if you look at a woman lustfully when you did that Jesus was NOT your king and you are NOT saved according to steve. steve has said he is on his 3rd marriage and he left his last wife becouse she was mentally ill, sorry but thats NOT a grounds for divorce and according to the bible steve is now living in open adulatry on his current third marriage!, so jesus is NOT his "king". Im sure teve is guilty of many other sins as well so he is NOT submitted to jesus as his king as he states!. now IF you were to examine MY life in thought and deed you would find that I am also guilty of just as many sins as steve!. so neither one of us is "submitted to christ as king" 100% of the time. the bible teaches we are saved by believing in christ and his shed blood for our forgiveness, NOT by submitting to christ as king becouse as Ive just shown neither steve nor I am submitted to christ as king 100% of the time, and james 2:10 says 99% obedience is NOT enough. lordship salvation is heresy and is not taught. read john, paul, galations, romans, etc. NOWHERE does it say repenting OF SIN will gain you salvation, ONLY trusting in christ ALONE will save you. IMO steve is lost. he is teaching a different gospel.

First of all, slander is a sin and here you are making up blatant lies about Steve's personal life. He never left his wife. Then your whole argument is ridiculous. Just because Jesus is our king doesn't mean we are perfect, without sin, it doesn't mean we cannot fall momentarily. Have you not read the New Testament? This is addressed all over the place. We are not saved by not committing sins, but because we have a continued relationship with God through Jesus. - moderator

@@SteveGreggVideos I got the info from steves own videos where he says his first wife cheated on him ( a justifiable divorce) and he has told everyone his second wife had a mental illness so they got a divorce, he NEVER said his second wife cheated on him. adulatry is the only grounds for divorce. next IF you commit a sin or sins as we ALL do as christians were we "submitted to the kingship of jesus" WHILE we committed those sins?? NOPE!. let me give a person example: I went to the grocery store, I saw a very attractive lady and for a few seconds I looked at her lustfully, THAT was adulatry according to Jesus!, I then repented....next I was headed home and a old lady pulled out in front of me and for 20-30 seconds I wanted to kill that lady and I had rage against her, then I repented. in BOTH cases I committed 2 horrible sins ( murder and adulatry according to Jesus). I was NOT submitted to christ when I committed those sins and my heart obviously was not right with God during those sins. so IF I judge my life according to steves doctrine I doubt my salvation. REMEMBER james 2:10, IF we fail at ONE law we are guilty of all!!. lordship salvationists believe we are not perfect BUT we MUST live up to a certain standard but they CANNOT tell you WHERE that standard is, is 90% obedience enough?? 80%??, etc. next, the bible teaches when we believe in Jesus for salvation christ IMPUTES his rightousness to us by his shed blood, NOT by our obedience to christ. steve said in a video a few days ago that we were forgiven WHEN we repented of sin!. there is NO verse in the NT that states such a thing. repentance means changing ones mind about christ.

@@jimbuck-xn8co I don't know if you're flat out lying, or really not mentally able to process what's printed on his website biography. I just went and read his bio, and it says his first wife left him, then divorced him. Second wife died. Third wife left him, and then divorced him.. Regardless what you think about his theology or salvation. You're wrong, and the mod is right. This is slander.

@@mountainmover777 what I heard was what he said in a video I watched 6 months ago, HOWEVER Ill take your word for it AND his word on his website. I apologise for being wrong on that one point. however I stand by my biblical arguments on lordship salvation that steve preaches. what he preaches is the same as macarthur, the catholic church and judaism. orthodox judaism teaches you are forgiven when you repent of sin and no saviour is necessary. steve teaches you are saved by repenting of sin AND believing in Jesus. please re read my arguments above. if he is looking to HIS faithfullness to christ to prove he is saved he is lost and preaching a false gospel. the bible says those who are depending upon keeping Gods laws to save them are under Gods curse BECOUSE NO Human is 100% faithfull to christ 100% of the time. they are decieved becouse they think they ARE keeping all of Gods laws. Im saved becouse when I believed in christ to save me he imputed HIS rightousness to me. do I strive to be faithfull to christ?? YES!!!!!, but not for salvation OR to prove Im saved.

Not directed at any particular person. The actual root problem is never addressed. Ask 30 people what “Lordship Salvation” means and you’ll get 78 different answers. Let’s do better church. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm so tired of Protestants arguing and creating dissension with all their theological theories. At this point, I'm leaving the Protestant evangelical church and going Roman Catholic. Keep arguing until you have no people in the pews of your utilitarian industrial churches.

Lots of truth that us Protestants choose to ignore. Ugh, I’m sorry you have experienced this, and I’m the opposite. I left RC. Again, there is truth in your original comment. 😔

@jonathon3508 The Gospel is trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, not making him Lord over your life. That is the lifelong struggle of someone who is already saved. But it is the proud heart that refuses to receive Jesus's gift of eternal life without works To surrender, commit ones life, repent of sins, follow Jesus, etc., are all works. We are not saved by works, but by GRACE (Eph. 2:8-9).
