Just a heads up: with 3 players you are supposed to deal 2 cards in-between each player so you should have 10 cards at the end.

When you lay your tile choose a donut and score 5 cent for each grouping of that donut orthogonally adjacent to it including the ones on your tile. You do not score the tile and then score again all orthogonal donut. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the coverage! One note about the Glory scoring: You don't need to score more glory than your HIGHEST previous glory score you only need more than you scored in the PREVIOUS round. So as soon as you miss and score 0 for a round, you are guaranteed to score whatever you get in the next round (as it will be higher than 0). Enjoy the game! Josh Grey Fox Games

I understand it is a prototype. But how was the thickness of the punch outs? Were the cards linen finished? I could not tell if the boards were de-bossed or not. Did you play it after opening? What would you say the weight was if you played it.

Great unboxing video! I ended up doing a board game swap and got the entire Tokaido collection and I am really excited to get it to the table. I have a question, though, and was wondering if you could assist. My panarama cards, the location cards, are a different material than the rest of the cards in the entire collection. They are more like the material of the pages of the rule book, very flimsy and a shiny page material, and not like the card stock the other cards are. Are your panarama cards like mine or are they the same as all your other cards?

I do hope they release a deluxe version in the revised edition with the expansions. I would buy it again for the expansions that are impossible to obtain in the old version.

@@BoardGameEmpire dissapointed, they just reprinted it without fixing houses, batiatus underpowered glaber overpowered bet they also didnt include rules that people find and asking on forums how doesn this and that work in this and that setuation. Thye did some answers so people made FAQ for spartacus My advice - better take PNP version with two addons its under official rules but with corrected description for cards, also intrigue cards will have film scenes on them. everything will be film related, but its not for kids coz there will be some naked slaves in some version of pnp that was also taken scenes from tv and same harsh words that was in original set. If you watched spartacus you will understand :D .... expected someofficial balances when kid grow up he should try pnp version and try spartacus tv series theya re awesome

Crossroads is an excelent expansion for Tokaido. We love this game at 2 players because there is a fight for controlling the dummy to use it effectively to affect the other player.
