Well, if you appeared on my private land after a fire, I'd wanna know who you were as well. It does annoy me when people think they're entitled to rock up on anyone's land and think they have some God given right to be there and do as they please. Fact is, you were being nosy. Just admit it. You can take it as a criticism but don't act all hurty-feelings/hard done-by because you are being questioned as to what you're doing there when you're not there to do what you would normally do at a shop, which surprisingly is to shop.

Nicky Hopkins was a genius musician whose musical contributions were noticed and added to music collaborations but never overpowered the other musicians. I also loved his own music, especially Waiting for the Band to come. You are greatly missed, Mr. Hopkins. Gone too early. RIP ❤️

If you watch the video footage of the making of Hey Jude you'll hear Paul McCartney use this same piano riff. Sympathy was recorded in June '68 and Hey Jude was in late July. Amazing that both of these long classics have similar structures -slow starts to dramatic builds, each had a non word hook (na, na, na... to woo hoo, woo hoo), were recorded so close to each other and both were documented on film during the recording process.

Alex Higgins changed the face of Snooker forever by dragging it out of the doldrums and working mens club, he was a naturally talented player who always played a shot out of nothing and a crowd pleaser. RIP Peoples Champion ( 1949-2010) Thank you for the wonderful memories.
