Legalism is something very bad The rules that you are to follow Are not going to make you better It is God Himself that will do the work And you will see the good results Joy will be in your heart as you trust And God alone for your Holiness So be confident Sister as you live For Christ that He makes you Holy You can enjoy this even at school Sister where you walk in bare feet Down hallways to your next class

The best leader that I know is my father who owns a small business and treats all his employees with respect, dignity and compassion. He's a servant leader who's willing to do any job in the company when needed and even with a mild temperament he holds the respect of the employees with humility. It's been such a wonderful example to me. He's a wonderful guy 💕

For me, juxtaposition of God's sovereignty and man's free will is not quite right. The juxtaposition should be God's sovereignty versus man's sovereignty. For at creation, God clearly gives man sovereignty the whole earth and all creation Genesis 1:28-29 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. This is clearly repeated with emphasis by the LORD in Genesis 9. Man is sovereign over the earth as delegated by God. The free will of man has to be juxtaposed against the will of God and as we look around us, in many cases, the will of man prevails over the will of God. When we look at wars, at the greed in our world, the violence, the abortions and all the sin, we see the sovereignty of man in action; man worshipping himself ONLY within this time/space continuum.

That's a great observation! At the same time, it is still God who gave us rights over anything, and thus He is still sovereign over all. We have an article that talks about this dichotomy a bit here: 412teens.org/qna/how-does-Gods-sovereignty-work-with-our-free-will.php

Thank you for the suggestion, and we'll add a link to learning more about how Romans 14 applies. 👏

So then how can we be more faithful when our prayers aren't answered? To give you a bit of background info in case that'll help, for many months I've been going through a rough time with my parents, with the stress levels, with friends, with emotions and not having anyone to help me, and sin that I try to repent from (I've been cussing, which is not only a sin in itself but also disobeying my mother and father, and I get so close and some days stop but the next day I'm back to doing it). I've prayed for many months, and it seems to finally have calmed down a bit, but every time that happens it goes right back to that pain I've been having for basically the whole year. One day I'll be on fire for God, the next I'm crying in bed. One day I'll be thanking God and the next I'm not even praying. Sometimes I feel like I'm under pain and I don't even know why, or I'll ask him to help me with all my problems and I can't figure out what my problems are. I understand that sometimes it's to build character, but for months? I understand that I'll go through tribulation and that I need to have faith in God and keep praying, but how can I do that when I pray for months and nothing happens? Basically what I'm trying to ask is how can I be more faithful and thankful during these times.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this period of life, friend. It is so hard to know how to handle those lengthy times of trial. Remember that emotions are not necessarily bad; they are designed by God to help us understand what's happening in our hearts and minds. James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." Of course, that doesn't really give us the practical advice you're asking for. And it doesn't necessarily help us deal with the emotions that come with situations like this. Let me encourage you that your struggle is one that every Christian faces throughout their lives. We will all struggle with feeling that God is distant or not listening to us. That doesn't make you a "bad" Christian or mean that you don't have enough faith. Life is hard at times, and God is well aware of our struggles. Jesus went through rough times during His earthly ministry, so He understands our plight. Hebrews 4:15-16 says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Allow yourself to feel the emotions and work through them. Examine yourself and your situation to understand why you're feeling that way. Look for solutions that can bring relief--even if that means taking better care of yourself so that you are prepared for the challenges. God promises that all our trials have a purpose (see Jeremiah 29:11). Continue turning to Him, just as you have been, during those difficulties and remember that no trial lasts forever, but our God-given joy does. Experiencing God's joy is a choice. During dark days, when we think we just can't make it another step, remember that Jesus never leaves us no matter what we are going through. "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2). This article at 412teens may be helpful to you: 412teens.org/qna/why-do-I-feel-far-from-God.php Praying for you today, friend! May God make His presence known to you today and every day--especially when the light feels far away 💜

He said god made them because of love. But is it really love to let billions of humans suffer in hell for eternity??? Regardless of having free will, god still knew what decision Adam and Eve would choose if he didn’t he would not be all knowing.

Parents choose to have children every day, knowing that they will not be perfect. They have children in order to love them--not because they know that they might make bad choices and suffer. God did not create humans so they could suffer. Unfortunately, humans make bad decisions every day and cause their own or others' suffering.

I have a good question. Why are there Christian’s telling other Christian’s not to watch the movie wicked with Ariana grande on social media? I wanna ask cause some of us grew up watching the wizard of Oz and I also wanna ask is how can a Christian like me be more respectful of other Christian’s that have different personal convictions especially when it comes to movies like wicked and horror movies without making accusations by saying stuff like “your not a Christian” just because of your profile and the fact that a Christian like me likes horror movies …I wanted to ask cause it also happened to me as well a few weeks ago under a video about Michael myers meeting our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

God wants you to be full of Power and Love, and also have a sound mind

If you're asking "Why does someone think X," then the best way to find the answer is to ask someone who thinks that way. ;) Everyone has their own personal convictions, though unfortunately, some people will consider their PERSONAL convictions to be convictions that ought to apply to all people. Our ultimate measurement for truth is the Bible, to which we ought to align our thoughts and decisions. The Holy Spirit plays a huge part in helping us remain holy in our daily lives as well. Here are some resources on this topic: 412teens.org/qna/what-is-the-conviction-of-sin-from-the-holy-spirit.php 412teens.org/qna/why-are-personal-convictions-important.php 412teens.org/blog/2019/when-christians-have-different-convictions.php
