I have a 1982 exactly like it but mine isn't nearly as shiny and clean. It has been a farm bike for the past 20 years and neglected a bit. I am in process of cleaning it up and fixing it up now.

Clean bike! It's an '81. First year Pro Link for the XRs, the XLs got it in '82. The '81s had black number plates and XR graphics on the side covers whereas the '82 had white. I've owned two '82s and currently have an '81.
