Came for the pie, but FYI, the next town Cape Girardeau (Jeh -rahr- doh). My aunt used to go there to shop often.

Loved St. Genevieve when my wife & I went there a few years back, but we missed this particular stop. Maybe it wasn't open due to covid shutdowns, i dunno. Anyways, sorry you took a fall going in! Hopefully, you played the sympathy card and got a couple of free bottles, maybe? 🤕

I grew up there lived there most of my life I volunteered and did some sandbagging right there during the flood of 93 ....🤣and at the end of the road there's the Ameristar casino where you can spend all your money

nice vlog. If the topic of the vlog was holidays, it makes sense, but a lot of tourists come during the worst time of the year in Poland; autumn and winter when it is gray, cold and night falls quickly, you cannot see all the colors of the buildings and nature, and in the summer it is really very warm.

It’s pronounced with a long “o” sound over the o and long “i”. Poznine is the closest way to explain it without actually hearing it. You should use Google Translate to hear correct pronunciation if you are unfamiliar,I with a language.

Good to know! I will certainly try to research how to pronounce names of places better as I continue to travel and make videos. But, I’m sure you understand, sometimes people are just going to pronounce things wrong (whether it is accent or other reasons). I will certainly try my best, but mistakes happen

@@ComeJoinMyJourney yes, I understand. But if you want viewers not to dismiss you, you should make the effort before uploading your vlog to research the places you visit.. My father impressed on me that a I should never make fun or willingly mispronounced a persons name. It felt it showed disrespect to that person. The same could be said of a town or the culture associated with it. If you do your research, it will reflect favorably on you! I have corrected my own children because if I didn’t, someone else would and that could cost them a job or at the very least, embarrassment. Better to have it come from their mother who loves them. Good luck.

For your information. Food in polish Christmas markets in every city is over priced and ingredients are the lowest quality! I really do not reccomend.

Oh I really enjoyed the food I had at the Christmas markets in Poland! I do agree though, that you can usually find better and cheaper food in other places in the city. However, sometimes I is worth paying extra for food at the market to enjoy the atmosphere. I did eat most of my meals away from the market though, so I was able to try restaurants in the cities

"W" in Polish is pronounced "v", as in Wawel.
