Bello! ) ecco dove esercitarsi: Un basso ostinato, come a volte ostinato è l'Amore... A song for soprano voice and basso ostinato, composed by Benedetto Ferrari, poet, musician, theorbist and theatre manager in Este's' Modena around the half of the 17th century. Transcription for rehearsal purposes by Guido Menestrina, available in modern clefs on www.musicaltranscriptions.com/ kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6abmqapgbx0opI

Are you really just a sextet, and, if so, may I ask what voices? This sounds like a whole lot more people singing, but the acoustics wherever you recorded it are superb.

Yes, this is really the sextet, Variant 6, that performed with Lyric Fest. It was recorded live. So glad you enjoyed it!

“For long years I felt torn between the greatest grief and the greatest love... Whenever I attempted to sing of love, it turned to pain. And again, when I tried to sing of pain, it turned to love. Thus were love and pain divided in me.” ― Franz Schubert
