How do i test on a manual transmission jetta with 2.0 tsi?
@Simple_Classic_CarsКүн бұрын
Similar fashion, just find some opening in bellhouse flywheel shielding and spray in there.
@Wavfm18 сағат бұрын
@Simple_Classic_Cars I checked and could not find any opening on the transmission housing. I have a mk6 jetta gli with the 6 speed 02Q manual transmission. :(

Ooh lord it’s complicated. Compared to the CV. or Renault 4. Engine. . I owned. Lots of Renault 4s. 850cc. 1000cc. I think there was a 1400cc. The ease of driving. The gear shift looks strange but it’s totally easy to use. Except the chug chug engine. Like the cv. Funnily enough. Funny. Thing is. They ride exceptionally well.

If I heard correctly you used aftermarket nozzles, can you share which ones? I am having the same issues you described and found chinese nozzles therefore wondering how these will perform? I am clear they won't last as much as Denso. Thanks.
@Simple_Classic_Cars2 ай бұрын
Nozzles I used were supposedly Denso, but who knows anymore in the world of knock off goods. I bought them from UK for about $300 total.
@luisbelgoderi68002 ай бұрын
@Simple_Classic_Cars sounds very accurate as Denso price. In the end it's durability who tells the story. Thanks for replying to me. Cheers

This basically a FYI comment. When working with diesel injection it is impossible to be too clean. Use a clean well drained metal surface. Use only lint free rags. Reassemble wet with fuel. When testing the injectors have a fan with a gentle breeze behind you and squirt into a jar/tin. Never put any part of the your body into the path of the injector spray. At a pressure greater than 10 psi it can bypass your skin. At 2000 psi it will punch a hole in the body and enter the blood vessels.

I owned a new 1984 Impulse. When the Turbo came out in the 1985 model year, I had to drive one to see the improvements. Here's what I observed: The engine was rough, course & very noisy at revs. Was it a lot faster? That was hard to tell because of all the takeaways in my previous observation. I absolutely hated it!
@GuitarBassCigar7 ай бұрын
My '85 turbo smoked a lot more than that...but on the days it did run, it was a fun car in the turns...til the engine folded in '89. The first owner had more fun with it than he led on...

Word of advise, old Maserati's are never perfect. Drove a Ghibli GT back in the day as my daily driver. Lovely car. However, one wet afternoon in the South Downs of Southern England it through itself at the scenery and barrel rolled down a hill. RIP Ghibli. Be very careful in the wet or cold conditions. I occasionally search the classified for another one and would purchase a good one in a heartbeat, however, very difficult to find these days.
