I just bought Simon Hurley’s Scout today 🎉 I can’t wait to get it!!! I currently use the Tim Holtz Sidekick and my oldie but goodie BIGkick, not to mention many other machines (we listen we don’t judge 😂) BUT… I hear most dies will fit through the Scout. I can’t wait, I’m so excited for both you and me 🥰 I will be ordering the magic mat for the Scout tomorrow. TYFS ❤❤❤

Great Question. I expect it will be the same as what I'm using for my platinum 6 with the mat replacing the plate that you cut into. I'm getting a second one and my use it in place of the second plate too. This works in my larger machine now... but I like to SEE what I'm cutting to make sure it hasn't shifted.

Was watching criminal minds while waiting and time got a way from me and I forgot to come back (finally remembered 1hr after stream finished) haha Hours later - Watching again cause I fell asleep! haha Soo many shiny things with different ways to applicate! Since embossing ink is a bit sticky can you directly foil with it without the embossing powder stage? ps screenshot the part where todd was behind you pulling a face and put on discord haha

great question. I'm thinking no, but give it a try and let me know. I don't think embossing ink is sticky enough for foil to stick to. If you try it, be sure to share pics in the group in Facebook :)

message me on FB with your paypal, and I'll reimburse you. I hate that the post office did that... a 5x7 envelope shouldn't have been charged extra like that. Next time, I'll just send each card separately...would have been a lot cheaper.

That background gives me chinese vibes for some reason ... or maybe ramen noodles/spaghetti too haha you ever read that story about a magic pot of noodles ... story is called "Strega Nona" one of my fave children stories! along with Stone Soup and magic goldfish! as well as The Berenstain Bears hehe anyway, kind of makes me want to put a dragon on it ... or ramen haha another thought popped into my head ... background looks a little like a celtic type of design too! it's too bad it seems that scrapbook can't send PBP lights to the uk! T.T

LOL. too funny. PBP lights are on spellbinders too... I don't know if they ship to the uk or not. I do know that Pear Blossom Press is getting such great exposure that they have a more shops want the lights. you could ask some of your favorite suppliers to see if they can get them :)

Hi Sheila. I'm using a Cannon TR4520 and the images turn out great. As I mentioned in the livestream, you'll also want to get some good inkjet paper. I'm using Epson Brochure & Flyer Paper and it gives much better results than printing on cardstock. 4 years ago, I found that images printed on cardstock were not nearly as vibrant or crisp and then found this paper. It works so much better. Good luck and I'd love to see what you create!

Hey! That was a Spellbinders 3d embossing folder that isn't available anymore. I think it was from a 3d embossing club from a while back. Spellbinders has a lot of fun ones and I love them all. :D

Went to PBP and ordered some lights and the world's best foam tape. 😖🇨🇦💲💲. Sadly very pricey😢. Will have to make it stretch. 😊. Can't wait for them to arrive now. Is there anywhere to get coupons??

I don't think there are any coupons. There are less expensive options but they aren't as easy. which is one reason I put together a light up cards mini course that shows all of the pear blossom press lights and gives an intro to the chibitronics lights. Now that I'm making myself slow down, I plan on doing a video of a chibi card soon. I don't know that I'll try using leds and copper tape from amazon again even though I have lots. It's really hard to work with.
