You should make sure always to have a LARGE dab of grease on those 2 pins that stop the clutch at all times no matter what. Theres a large chance that may have caused some slippage too without a doubt. The clutch stops there against the wall of the bearings and slack washer the pins just catch it and hold it when youre freecoasting. However when you pedal and the clutch starts to spin it’s rotating right on top of those pins while putting pressure down. They can get damaged without alot of grease. There should be a large clump on each for best performance

@@aurteekay6339 thank you for your comment, we appreciate it. We have used grease on the clutch retainers/tensioners but found as they wear and there is less tension it get slippage.

Great guide most people think oh I just pray paint my bike maybe put primer on first then the paint but they never sand it they don’t clean off the original paint and they never clear coat it so nice job , I want to buy the kink switch but don’t really like the color so I want to spray it so thanks for the help , I know how to paint a little but this guide really cleared up spots I would have missed

u don’t have to sand the base coat as much as you did, u only need to sand primer and sand and polish the clear coat

@@edwardjski thank you, we employed many script writers to assist in the task. some of them drank large volumes of water during the process but they all came through with the script. after trying to make it work we ended up making paper aeroplanes out of it and just asked our aunty to add their words over the video

thank you so much for the breakdown, this was really thorough compared to some other guides I've seen I just got my first freecoaster, and after riding it and doing a few hops I noticed it's kind of grinding.. like it doesn't seem like it's rolling smoothly and backpedaling feels "rough". It still rolls it just feels kinda crusty. Any ideas on why that might be?

@@VarmintBMX rough rolling. on a coaster you have the hub bearings and the driver bearing. if the hub / wheel rolls rough it's likely the hub bearings, and they need replacing. it it pedals rough then it's likely the driver bearings. all are replaceable but it's easier to get a new driver that has the bearings in it that to try to get the old ones out and new ones in

@@FreestyleNow thanks for your help! I have taken it apart twice now to try and figure it out. All the bearings seem to roll smooth thankfully but sometimes if I land rough it seems like the driver side bearing pops out a little bit, like maybe a mm or two. Then from then on its 50/50 whether it rolls smooth or rough until I re seat that bearing. It's real strange.

Our brothers uncles father got the paint for us. we guess they got it from a reputable paint supplier or from the guy selling paint out of the back of their car.
