I am certainly glad Mathews bellied up to the bar and made some technical advancements to their tuning. That system looks baller. Wish I could draw a few. very interested if they are putting this system on the Title for 2025.

Great video, quick and to the point with all the features. This will be the video show people from now on. I have been trying to tell people about this press and vise for a long time. I have been saving the money to get one of these for over a year now. I got a few months left and hopefully will have one.

A very well done video of these two bows. Its funny how when anyone uses the term “ comparison” the fanboy speedfreaks get all upset about it. Its reminiscent of the politics in this country. Why I say that it is well done is because #1 it takes a lot of time and effort to produce. ( dont agree? Produce one yourself) #2 its obvious that she is not a beginner to archery and the environment of shooting/hunting. #3 she is basing it off of her past shooting experiences with Bowtech and probably even had a slight lean to Bowtech because of it but was so open to how they actually performed for her, that she ultimately chose the matthews. This shows openess to actual real world application and not simply wanting to sell one over another. #3 she clearly understands bow physics to know when something feels a certain way and why. #4 is coming from a remote island in the pacific and not having a pro shop to try all of these bows first hand. Being able to view and listen to the psychology of a 5’4” woman speak on what she is feeling thru the grip, shot cycle and reverb after the shot is a huge help for a father looking at these two bows for his young adult daughter. In other words she is doing a fine job of helping me see thru the eyes of a petite framed woman. The fact that she can eloquently project her thoughts and sensations in real time as shes testing is huge for me. Iv’e seen other women do it as well but they are merely spitting bow specs and saying how much they love it with key marketing words thrown in here and there for good measure. Which ultimately gives someone in my position, nothing. I appreciate the time , thought and effort to be as unbiased as you were in this video. Being as secluded as we are here, these types of videos are really helpful in getting a feel of things before making any type of purchase. I mean every bow manufacturers bow is the fastest, smoothest, lightest etc but ones perceived perception of it is what matters. Love the fact she shot a Bowtech and leaned towards Matthews anyway. I myself, wife and 2 young adult children all hunt with Bowtechs but having said that my daughters next bow will be had by excellent reviews such as this regardless of the brand.

I typically run 60-65lb bows due to worn out old man shoulders. I reluctantly shot the Verocity 35 29”@72lbs and was pleasantly surprised with the draw cycle and quietness at the shot. So much so, it’s at the top of my list for my new 3D rig. Hell it might replace my Athens Vista 33 as my hunting rig. Nice review by the way👍🏻

That just looks unpleasant to shoot. Personally, I want to enjoy shooting a bow. The speed doesn’t seem great as the arrow weight increases over 500. I’m getting 284 fps out of a 522 grain arrow (29.5 DL) with a much smoother draw. My shoulder aches watching this video 😳😳
@jeffcopenhaver22172 жыл бұрын
I detest a harsh draw. I own and hunt bows in 60-65lb. I shot the E2 cam 29” DL at 60 and 70 lbs and was pleasantly surprised with the draw cycle. A solid smooth build up with a short dump. I’m actually thinking hard about buying a 60lb E2 version.
@henrydhamster10932 жыл бұрын
I have one bought from O'Connell archery. It has the E2 cams, set at 28.5" draw and 66.5 pounds. It shoots a 458 grain arrow at 295 fps. The draw cycle is about what you would expect for such a high performance bow. The grip it comes with is fairly wide but other grips are readily available. no grip at all is about as wide as a Bowtech grip and that's how I'm shooting mine. Would definitely buy this bow again.

@@JS-ji5bl We did at the shop and it was 325 fps I think. I know they took a pic of the chrono. At the time the arrow rest wasn't quite correct so I would expect it to be a hair faster.

@@oconnellarcheryllc7571 I took my women to a shop to shoot both of these. She is new to archery. I shot both the bows side by side with her. I never told her what I liked what I didn't like until after she choose. She shot them both quite a bit and choose the EVA. The 7 inch brace imo better suit her being new. But I as well would have choose the Prima. When she choose the EVA she asked me which one I would have picked I told her the EVA just so she wouldn't second guess herself and think about it. But all in all 2 weeks of shooting and she's pounding bullseyes at 30 yards so it fits her very well

@@stephensheldon8396 thats very awesome my wife liked the prima but to be honest it wasnt the shot it was the grip she didnt like. This is the reason you always shoot a bow before you buy. Big difference in shooting speed? Draw is 2-3 lbs lighter and draw length is a half inch shorter. Of coarse there is gunna be a speed difference. You can't compare speeds and tell people there is a speed difference when shooting 2 different bows setup differently. Set them both the exact same and chrono them for comparable results
@oconnellarcheryllc75712 жыл бұрын
You are correct but the difference was she wasnt hitting her anchor spot with the mathews unless we went a half inch more.

@@stephensheldon8396 - if both bows are anchoring the same, then technically they are the same length. It is a known fact that 29” on one bow can be closer to 28 1/2” on another. The numbers on the cams are estimates of draw length, they are not exact.
