This was an interesting video. I feel like I've learned quite a bit, and it's obvious you did your research. If I were to give a criticism, I feel like you need to work on your speech. The way you deliver your information feels stilted and it's a bit too obvious you're reading from a script. You also keep stumbling over your words, and you keep having to correct your mistakes mid-sentence. I feel like maybe you should rehearse your speech a bit more before you record and/or do a few more takes to avoid mistakes. I think you have promise as a video essayist. You just need to iron out a few kinks.
@theamericanhedgehog3 ай бұрын
Thanks! I have noticed that as well and I noticed my speech is better without a script/with a loose outline, so I've started to utilize that more than a standard script My videos also feel more organic and fun when I do them w/o scripts or adlib when I do :D

Barbie was supposed to be Woody's love interest . . . but Mattel didn't like the idea because they believed that it would go against Barbie's character. Her whole identity was to let kids imagine what barbie would be like (a waitress, a sports player, an artist etc) . So they made a new character called Bo Peep . But Mattel did let them use Barbie in the sequels without being Woodys interest .

I mean, if it was identical to the OG show, there would be no fun in it, sure, it be cool to have the exact same episodes in live action, but that would just be copying. I saw he got a little angry at one of the guards on his ship (first episode anyway, wanna watch the rest of it, but only saw the first) but to me, it wasn't as exaggerated as it could've been. The way he got angry was like a well-mannered adult losing his temper, but he's a teenager whose been burned by his father and banished for 3 years, he has to lash out at people over the little things, like he does in the cartoon You are totally fine to like the live action show, I completely respect your opinion and ability to watch whatever you wanna watch, but it just didn't click for me :)

I don't think Netflix ruined this live action. But they could have done a better job if the paid attention to details. As someone who watched the original show, there are A LOT of things that bothers me in this adaptation, but if i didn't knew the original materials i would probably watch it after the season finale. So it is a god (infinity better than the movie we do not talk about) way to promote the original show. And if this first season do good, maybe they do a better job on the next seasons.
