I've known Bob since 2002ish when he owned Moby at Rod n Reel marina. You couldn't have gotten a better captain to help you on your journey! Loved watching your adventure! Hi Bob! <3

Thank you for sharing this video! As Bob's daughter, I wanted to share that the provisioning was my responsibility. Huel was chosen not as the sole provisioning but because it's a complete food that can be stored easily, prepared quickly, and provides all necessary nutrients. Having experienced bad weather offshore, I know how important reliable food options are. Huel delivers more vitamins, protein, minerals, and nutrients than bread and peanut butter. I recommend reading the label-Huel offers comprehensive nutrition for demanding conditions. 🤗🫡

I don’t want to ruin a good story with facts! We ate it and some of it was actually quite good. I plan on getting some for emergency rations for hurricanes. We still had much fun teasing Bob about it.

Can you imaging what it is like to be suddenly surrounded by long nose and yellow wavy hair people.

Its a lot better to be surrounded by those loving caring people than stuck in an orphanage and finish up going off your head, he is going to a caring culture thT will benefit him in every way.

Very scary I’m certain. I’m so thankful we had his siblings around him to show him he would be safe. Later that night he would knock over blocks and wait with a smile while his siblings stacked them up again.

Wondering why you didn't leave your kids at home?
@mortalclown38127 жыл бұрын
nhgriff1 Many adoptive families report that the presence of their other children helped with attachment, etc. Considering that the new children live in orphanages, they're used to other kids. Saw your other comment: Is being hypercritical of loving, godly people like the Rowland family your mission in life? It's almost too pitiful to think of and perhaps you're miserable enough without my observations. I like these videos to share in what's been an extraordinary journey, to congratulate and extend blessings. Reckon we're all very imperfect sinners who could show one another grace.
@nhgriff17 жыл бұрын
It's not about the children they have at this moment but the one they are adopting. Many of these videos show the children acting out in jealously. This should be a time of bonding between the parents and new child. They are not getting a puppy! And my life is just fine, thank you. I've seen your comments on a lot of these videos and it's not all giggles and rainbows. My best wishes to the family for a successful adoption.

We thought it would be less scary for Kelly to see other children happy. We had grandma there to help care for our other children. There are no perfect answers when dealing with brokenness.

John is precious! I love how Kelly gets to be a big sister and help him transition this time. All your children have grown so much in the few years since Kelly was adopted. You have a sweet group of children. Congratulations on the newest member. Hope all of you are doing well. Thanks for sharing your videos!

Your daughter (Kate?) was so precious and sweet towards her new sister. I loved how she was sharing her granola bar and other food with her, and she was so tender -- kissing Kelly, patting her, etc. Kate is a wonderful little girl, and I'm sure you are very proud of her. I hope that sweet little Kelly got over her fear pretty quickly. It is heartbreaking to see the little ones so afraid. They have no idea what is going on, and how their lives are about to change forever.
