It was a very crazy event and so far the best. I managed to catch 48 shinies and 2 regular 100%. Shiny Dragonite 98% from the wild. very very good event.

I like Pokemon go and i welcome the challenge. I will beef up my TWO accounts and will pull my own weight in these new raids. BUT the challenge is finding others to play with. I cant get 10 people to gather in the same spot, at the same time, to do these kinds of raids. I can literally drive 2 more people in my car and still cant do this raid. I also wanted to address that i also agree the schedule of what they released was very flawed. They release the the starters like sobbble, and then release it as a dynamax. Every single sobble i grinded to get are now useless as i can now double my dynamax sobble to also be my raid fighter. BUT i shouldnt waste my resources on this sobble, when the Gigantamax sobble is coming later. Maybe i should just skip these raids till other people can carry me, then i spend my time doing those in the future. Thats probably not the mentality the company is going for, but why am i gonna wander around for hours for stuff that arnt going to be useful in the next week/month.

By your own logic, Typhlosion (incinerate) and Feraligator (shadowclaw) should be in A tier. They are recently amazing in the great league. And if Meganium is in A then the other two should be too. Meganium isn't even that good currently while the other 2 are currently. Lanturn should be S teir. It wrecked the gbl for years and was on almost every gbl team, even after the nerf it's still top 50. Sneasel should be S tier. It has a better shiny than Hoothoot and a better event costume with the beanie and shades.

I caught 4 shiny lucario using remote passes so shiny lucario is definitely in remote raids. Me and my son also did like 22 in person raids and he didn't get a single shiny. This is a gamble, a 1/10 or 1/20 does not guarantee a shiny, it's just a luck thing but Lucario is 100% available as shiny during remote raids. I have 4 to prove it.

I played about 10 raids and got 3 shinies. Great luck obviously, but aside from that, they were all remote. So yeah had to have been “affected area” or possibly just really bad luck. It happens. There’s been days where I ran 20+ raids before the daily remote raid nerf and got zilch. Just depends on luck 🤷🏻

Short answer, I think that while the launches of these updates may have been lacking the fact we keep getting new things is a good thing. Could it be better, absolutely. But it could be worse as well
