16.09 such an interesting idea to share this border in a design project. It takes away the political induced fear of what is happening. 22.40 just a beautiful space, how lucky to call this home

The beautiful community gets commercialized. Such a shame. It's a beautiful area and when is the last time you saw the government step in and develop something and make it better?

Bittersweet to see the gentrification of that homely little port… but I’ll admit, the new design is a lot prettier haha

I like how the Viñoly and Stern buildings look from the inside. The environments are spacious and glazed, but they also have their fair share of opacity and segmentation. The units in those buildings feel like houses. I hate glass apartments with metal pillars and Mies van der Rohe-style open-concept floor plans, because their residents look like they live in offices or shops.

I vacationed in Port Orford for many years, and am glad to see that the area wont die without a struggle. It's a lovely area of Oregon and a lovely community. It is sad to see the loss of some of the older glass and other art shops, but again, glad they're doing what they can to preserve the area.

What’s the name of the presenter at @13:05 ? I tried to figure it out from the names in the credits and could NOT figure it out. She also didn’t have her name listed when she showed on screen like the other presenters. Anyone have any idea?

That's ridiculous nobody lives there. Take some good pictures, tear it down and build some good affordable housing.

@ByDesignTV what's more important.... housing for hard working families or subjective art for the elite?? Now, go get your camera, snap some photos and I'll assemble the demo crew and we'll get this lot rezoned multi family 🤙🤙

very good bit of kit. not sure why we dont see them more prominent everywhere - public transport, schools etc. the ones the schools have (VIC, AU) require training etc etc and people dont want to buy in because of it.
