I used to work there. It’s not haunted, they want your money from the ghost tours. If someone never told you it was haunted, would you still see ghosts??

@@Just.D I didn’t mean ghost exactly, I meant ANY kind of eerie goings on, NOTHING was experienced by me. Which doesn’t mean that other people aren’t fooled into thinking creepy things go on there. I think owner Elise Roenigk & GM Jack Moyer hype it up so much to get business & money for the ghost tours, when I worked there I got to know them well, so I’m pretty sure I’m right.

So that’s colloquially called a “black snake”, which people sometimes also call other snakes like black racers and even some Eastern Kingsnakes (all of which are harmless to humans). The actual species is the Central Ratsnake, they’re often colored mostly black. The “kinking” thing they do is common for that species, and no one is really sure why they do it, but the most common explanation is that it’s a form of camouflage, makes them less like a snake and more like a stick to predators (especially hawks).
