It would be great if the MBTA could afford to elevate this line from BU East to Babcock Street in the same way that they elevated the E Line from Lechmere to Medford/Tufts. Doing so would greatly reduce the amount of time spent waiting on traffic lights, and it would also eliminate the potential for collisions with vehicles and pedestrians on Comm. Ave.

Waiting for elevators in handicaps takes LONGER. In high rise, it sends to cars A and B, except for car F going to 9. In the low rise, it is K and L, except for car G, which goes to floor 9. So, cars C, D, E, H, I, J, M, N, O, and P are no longer handicapped. It's possible to get M, N, O, and P in handicap if -1 is unlocked. These elevators received a mod, which cars A, E, H, and L now served 9th floor.

I figured out where the machine room for this is. On the lower level, the door on the left right next to the elevator that was seen at the beginning is a stock room. I once saw it open and it was pretty big. I couldn’t hear the machine super well, but I was able to hear it a bit and was able to confirm the machine room is in there. It is most likely behind the elevator.

At first when I starting using the LIRR at grand central thought I there’s no way I could way I could ride them (steep escalators give me a sense of vertigo) but since going to London ridding up most steep escalators isn’t too bad (most of them) just don’t look up
