I always see far right Conservative Christians touting this movie as the supposed symbolism of their beliefs, that the government isn't as strong as they think, that they could rise up and take control from their would be oppressors (Biden and Democrats, etc etc). But I feel they fail to realize- this movie is about them. This movie is the result of a far right Conservative Christian party taking power, and then locking up anyone who disagrees with them or does not share their beliefs. And then- thousands of citizens, from all sides of politics, religion, sexual orientation, who are sick and tired of the authoritarianism, are inspired by one man, to march on their own government and watch the Parliament burn. This movie is about giving hope and strength to the oppressed, and the oppressed are not the far right Conservative Christians. Not here, not anywhere, and they never have been.

Almost afraid to watch it now anymore, since its definitely getting more and more less fictional. Especially with Nov 5th being election day this year.
