Ha We have a stream that runs below our plot and it is full of canes .. the ones our side of the fence get cut back, bit we are prohibited from cutting back the ones the other side. They are a pain and a fire risk in summer

I have potatoes in wide tall pots, just harvesting a few at a time at present, tasty new potatoes with skin that just rubs off. In a small veg plot, tomatoes coming on nicely (a couple of ripe ones already picked), lettuce, chives, garlic, carrots, cauliflowers, and a load of herbs both in thw ground and some in pots

Never seen an onion beetle before and I'm growing some onions and chives. In fact I must sow some more chive and also parsley seeds 👍
