I disagree; I like blending music styles when it "works", and I very much think it works well in this one 😀

@wamporeycidulgb for me they don't fit. Melissa has always said she does them if the song warrants it, but on this song they just feel like they're there for the sake of it. And to me they subtract from the song rather than add to it. I think Abyss is gonna be a very polarising album. Downfall was fairly commercial, this new one I feel will be even more so.

@@davidrees4218 I think they are "aiming" for a wider audience with this, but I'm very excited about this genre mixing. Perhaps it can open more eyes (or ears, rather) to metal music. 😀👍

@wamporeycidulgb of course they are, and nobody can blame them for doing so. Personally, I may wait and hear more tracks before purchasing Abyss, I haven't decided yet.
