Nora is such an underrated badass for looking Ellie straight in the eye and affirming that she is completely comfortable with her participation in ending Joel’s life after what he did to the fireflies/ the world more generally. Even if she does still hear his screams. Nora can look back from her perspective and feel somewhat okay with herself, in a way that Ellie almost certainly can’t.

Dina has one of the funniest lines in the game and Ellie didn’t even bother to laugh. What she says next is awful, but that little moment there before it where Dina was trying to soften the shock and reconnect, and Ellie just blows past it. Ouch. She doesn’t even see Dina in that moment.

This very clip convinced me to try the game again after I got frustrated with the Silverhand stuff... Though never seriously considering self-deletion...I was on hard times. Doubting everything I was and everything I knew. But seeing this showed me that this game really is trying to speak to people on a whole other level. And giving the game another go, and getting a pretty good ending...it felt good. Felt like all the trouble was worth it in the end, and believe it or not it rubbed off on me IRL You can make a difference. In fact, just by existing and doing right by the ones you love, you are making a bigger impact than any corporation, and single piece of technology, and bigger than any legend you know. You can quit, too, sure. But you have no idea how much you mean to people. Don't give up. Because you will absolutely shatter people's hearts. It's worse than the so-called "Soulkiller". Stay in the game. Try to live for others. It's worth the risk and you may find it pays off more than any scheme, any gig, any piece of tech. That's what I got out of this game. I'll never forget it CDPR. <3

Saddest ending by far, but in many respects the most realistic. When faced with insurmountable odds you do what a lot of people very well might: utterly and totally give up. Not only that but you leave all your loved ones with the emotional mess to clean up. Those calls during the credits were such a powerful touch to this ending.

That was a really amazing homage to Rutger Hauer's character Roy Batty. I was already happy when I saw Batty's Hotel with the little origami bird logo; but actually finding Roy Batty's body holding a little bird was really going above and beyond. The "Like tears..." neon lights were also a nice touch; as was the tiny origami bird sitting on the front desk below. Just great to see so many of these references in the game. Seeing all of these things that influenced the creation of Cyberpunk and Night City; it's just great! ❤

In the end, it wouldn’t have mattered if she killed Abby. Joel is still gone, Dina would’ve left her. She’d get maybe a week’s worth of satisfaction accompanied by a life full of regrets.

The funny part is some of us fall down this route and reach a point where no matter what it'll happen to us eventually. No matter what some of us were done from the get go and that's okay. It's a good world but some of us just aren't meant for it after a certain point.
