Can you hear the different tones within his voice?! LOVE me some Eddie! And yeh, can understand the words better also 😮

Every time I listen to this song, Eddie sings it with different lyrics.

Yeah this a great rendition…I got hooked on the original B-side of Jeremy “lost dogs” version these are the clearest lyrics you’re gonna find I’ve watched em all and pretty close to the original lyrics

THANK YOU for sharing it!!!!!!!!!!!! I had it saved on an old device and can't retrieve it. I would LOVE to have the file again....hint hint

You can hear Mike accidentally hits the pickup selector at 0:17 and then flicks it back around 0:24. I hate when that happens too!

1997 Tibetan Freedom concert. "In a surprise appearance on Sunday morning, 15 minutes before the concert's announced starting time, Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam strummed electric guitars and brooded through ''Corduroy,'' ''Yellow Ledbetter'' and Neil Young's ''Rockin' in the Free World.'' Michael Stipe and Mike Mills of R.E.M. played ''Undertow,'' ''New Leper Test'' and ''Electrolite,'' about spirituality, compassion and love; then Mr. Vedder and Mr. McCready joined them, as Mr. Stipe sang Mr. Vedder's rumination on death, ''Long Road,'' while Mr. Vedder tried wordless parts originally recorded by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan." From the New York Times article "Playing, Swaying and Praying" June 10th, 1997.

tibetan freedom concert 1997 in new york, only mike mccready and eddie vedder performed, 4 song setlist: corduroy, yellow ledbetter, rockin' in the free world, and long road with some guys from REM. doesn't seem like there's any video of it. here's all 4 songs though kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZaof5WLjN97i9E the whole band played the tibetan freedom concert in 1998 and there is footage of that but they didn't play yellow ledbetter.

Eddie is goddamn national treasure. I don't agree with a lot of his politics but I would cherish a hangout session with that man. I got into the grunge game kind of late but let me just say, these guys are true artists. Keep grunge alive! Say a prayer for the ones we lost and cherish the one we got left!
