If the straight is not working for long distance, do the same experiment for flight route from buenos aires to Delhi. It doesn't work, because the path is touching Europe; but if you use straight it was the shortest path. This all are because of flat earth like a map on WHO.

'Why planes don't fly straight?' because the earth is flat and has no curvature. See 'flat earth map' like map on the logo of WHO; all planes use that map and they fly straight not curve; because of that flat earth map, they know the shortest path. Cheek it.
