If you are visiting Paris as an American, skip standing in a 3 or 4 hour line to see the Mona Lisa. Of course, see the rest of the Louvre -- enjoy the Rodins and the other DaVincis, etc. Take those 3 or 4 hours you saved NOT waiting in line for the Mona Lisa and go to the Jewish Museum in the Marais. When we went, we were the only ones there. You'll see an original Chagall and much, much more.

good news brother … it’s even better than you portray it here. All were Spanish people even by ethnicity, some stayed jewish(from old times), a lot became christian and later most became muslim.
