This was our first visit. After a long yet scenic drive to get there, it was nice to have such a splendid view. I think Beast really enjoyed himself at this one! 🐶😊

2:25 - Beastie's waggy tail was so cute, as were seeing all the beagles together. That did look like a great dog park, I liked how it had separate areas so you could choose where you want to be. 🐶💙

This was such a great fundraiser, and a fun.way for the dogs to experience something new. Beastie seemed very curious about everything, and wanting to explore the boat. All the dogs looked like they were very well behaved, and, for the most part, found the ride very relaxing. I'm glad that you all had such a good day. 🥰🥰

Beastie was brave to get on the boat for the first time. He was looking quite relaxed, especially towards the end when he was lying down on the cushion. What a great fundraising activity. Lots of cute dogs on the water with you, and Erie Canal looks to be a nice spot to while away some time. 🐶💙

We had so much fun, and for a good cause too! Beast was a little unsure at first but he soon adapted and settled right in. The canal is a gorgeous area that hopefully we can explore again soon! 🐕🚤

I am pretty lucky with my beagle. Maybe she’s not a full bred beagle(her pattern is a lil off) but she’s really patient when we leave or if we leave her in the car. She only barks when she wants to be let back in the house from outside. She was the runt but she’s pretty independent. When she matures we are going to get her a friend.

@@BeagleBabyBeastie Yeah thanks for responding. The vet we take her to say that’s she the most unique beagle they’ve ever seen….mostly cause she’s the only beagle they’ve ever seen that that has a random dewclaw on one of her back legs and her pattern is cute. She’s almost 6 months and about 22-23 pounds now. She’s extremely cute and she’s gets so much attention for it wherever we go. She’s also a lot easier to train than I thought she was going to be. At 4 months I taught her how to roll over, she knows how to close doors for me(not perfect but sometimes it is), and she knows to stay/wait and I can call her over. So beagles can definitely be quite intelligent.

@@MAGWAII Those sound like some cool tricks, nice job! Beast learned just about everything I taught him with positive reinforcement clicker training. Finding the right motivation (in his case- food!) can be very powerful when it comes to overcoming beagle 'stubbornness'.

We have a beagle mix who acts like you are never coming back every time you leave the room and like she hasn’t seen you in years when you come back after five minutes. She will lick you relentlessly and she is so cute you will let her until you remember she was just in the backyard sniffing every pile of poop there before making a fresh one. She also alerts us to the presence of every leaf blowing in the wind within view of the window she sits at. She is such an adorable pain in the butt!
