I live in the Bahamas where our weather most of the year is pretty humid and hot. Do istill have to choke the bike in the mornings when starting up?

Is the backfire on these drag pipes normal?? Mine pops on decel quite a bit but I heard it doing it on this video too. I was assuming I have a bad seal on my exhaust gaskets but idk man I feel like everyone’s drag pipes pop quite a bit

Did you pass emissions? My cats are bad and need to get new ones but would rather downpipe it just worried about passing emissions.. any answer would help! Thanks and nice car!

You will not pass the emissions inspection in anyway, where they test for emissions without a working catalytic converter. In the past as of 2023 you could have just bought a catalyst downpipe and then an $800 tune to delete the check engine light and you would have been fine but not anymore. Well atleast here in New York.

You don't choke to get the bike heated up, you choke to get the fuel oxygenated. Several minutes seems excessive, and you will probably be running very lean and you will get a lot of popping of the exhaust as fuel will pass through and burn up in the exhaust. On my bike, the manual says to run the choke for about 30 seconds, while in reality, it's more like 30 seconds + driving a few hundred meters after I have closed the choke, before it can idle on its own.

I have a 2014 yamaha fz1, it’s naked but full faring. The upright riding position allows me to ride for hours and not be uncomfortable, straight handlebars are great for city maneuvering. The best part is, when I go on group rides with super sports I can keep up no problem. Turns at 130-150mph pretty confidently. I would highly recommend a fz1

You didn't put new gasket into the exhaust port. Proper practice requires new exhaust gaskets when you install a new system. 🫠

I have a cbr600f 2006 and it fits, I think it’s the same 19mm hole so should be fine. You need the bigger attachment which comes with it
