Thanks for the nice video! If you want an even smaller train on Gotland you can visit Bläse Kalkbruk. Maybe not as old but an unusual experience. I would probably have been able to make the car flip over standing up and pushing to the side. The train takes you to Bläse träsk.

Some very neat aircraft. I am building a sopwith camel replica from the airdrome company right now. I am using a radial engine instead of rotary. Can’t wait to fly it. Also fly a pitts special similar to the one at the beginning of the video

Thanks for commenting. Yes I do agree that there are some great planes displayed. Interesting that despite all the years since they were designed there is still delight in watching them in flight. Modern planes are fine and impressive in their own way, but I think the touch of nostalgia that comes with vintage and classic planes will always hold their interest. Nice to have your own replica.
@AlanpittsS2b2 ай бұрын
@ yeah I have always had a much bigger interest in vintage or small aerobatic aircraft than modern jets and such. I like them all but something about old planes is just neat. The designs, sound, stories behind them, a lot of it for me to is that an old airplane is more realistically obtained for me. I’m never going to be able to afford an f18 lol

@@kobalt77 Thanks for your comment. My father was born in Arbroath but emigrated th New Zealand as a young man. He only got back once with the family, but I have since been able to revisit three times. Noticed quite a few changes over time but always an enjoyable visit.

@1:20+ --- I hate to be hateful in any way... But! I can't resist pointing out the lettering announcing "One of the three Great Engineering... Ancient China..." The letters are hung quite loosely, insecure as He** to be frank, on a flimsy, poorly attached wire frame... One would think, judging from the quality of the local infrastructure, that a much more robust and well-built method of declaring that; Here lives on; "One of the three Great Engineering... Ancient China..." could have been easily built. This sign even falls short of the insulting level called; "Chinese Tofu Construction."

Thank you for posting this. I recall going there with Dad back in the 80s, and the cars that stood out were those with odd doors such as gull wings. Can't recall the Delorean being there though, it was probably before BTTF made them famous.

My big sister was born there just after the end of the Second World War. My second sister and I were born in Rangoon but we used to visit Taunggyi. We had friends there too. Makes me weep from the loss of my country and my story. We now live in the UK. Nice but not the same. We are still looking for those familiar childhood reassurances of our childhood trusts. Ay ay ay… yeah. Still Karen, still a brought up Christian but still Buddhist without dilution. Bless you all.
