Uhm no. With the financialization of housing you need to look at the supply and demand for money. Not houses only. Money supply is shrinking drastically.

I really appreciate your comment and input. It might be the case in some areas of the country but with the unemployment at only 5% and Ottawa's strong government employment who most just received a raise and backpay will indicate that money shortage in Ottawa will not be the main driving factor is my belief but you have a valid point as well for many areas!

im not sure i understand your question. A first refusal means you are purchasing a home while you wait for your other home to sell. Not the same home.

@@remi.morvan I’m going through a divorce. We are trying to sell the marital home. He wants a right to refusal added to the contract for the realtor. He already owns the home that we’re trying to sell. I assume that it’s going to be a third-party or a relative kind of sale because he can’t buy something that he already owns.

I Bought my house in 2001 from the city as a low income . No I want to sell . We have to sell the house back to them because of the first refusal . Is it true that we have to sell back the house to them at the same price at bought the house in 2001 ?? Thank u for all the info
