Maybe mistaken for New York, there’s a neighborhood named ‘Jamaica’ there. Definitely not in the Caribbean for sure.

So the video I saw about snow in Portland was a lie. Wow! Why would someone waste their time to lie about snow in a place that will never see snow? Smh 🤦🏽♀️.

In 1989 perhaps about August or so, I was reading the Gleaner and on the front page was a photo of Blue Mountain peak, and the cabin which used to be up there, covered in snow and someone had build a small snowman, with the caption 'Jamaica's first snowman', so this is fake news. Check the Gleaner, I am sure there must be copies.

The claim of snow was completely discredited by the Meteorological Service of Jamaica.

All people had to do was google the temperature in Portland Jamaica and see it was on average 80 degrees during the days snow was supposed have fallen. Next there is a Portland Oregon in The USA where snow actually fell But people ran with the nonsense of signs of the the end of the The World Jesus is coming and effects of Global warming climate change “Global warming that is why they are buying up all your beach front properties for development” A simple google search and common sense

Coldest temperature for Blue Mountain Jamaica 1957 was 7 degrees Celsius 👀 😱. Please visit Canada in the winter and experience -50 Celsius or when snow is up to your eyeballs. Better still, come during an ice storm (not hail) 🥶. I’ll love to trade places with you 😰. Joke aside though, Cold/freezing is your own perception especially if it’s not the norm for you.
@WeatherXtras8 сағат бұрын
I doubt I’ve personally experienced anything lower than 18°C. -50deg is almost impossible to imagine and surely would be quite an experience!

Hail is not snow and snow is not hail. Hail are ice balls of various sizes. I have seen Hail in New York and New Jersey in the U.S. in the summertime. Therefore, Hail is certainly possible in Jamaica as well, but it is not snow. When you do get the very rare snow flakes, it won't stick as the lady said because the temperature doesn't stay cold enough. However, with climate changing around the world, anything is possible.

Jamaica is just a piece of shit. Why are the roads down there so disgusting? Don't y'all government care or something? Go fix the fucking roads. They look like the surface of the moon. Over here in the United States of America, we got good roads. We drive on every day. Jeez. I tell my American friends not to go back down there because, trust me, nope. The roads are disgusting. Everything down there is disgusting.
