My issue is the exact opposite. I have damag clearly visible on MRI, but Eeg’s are usually fine. They know I’m having epileptic seizures and not psycogenic non epileptic seizures, but it’s still frustrating. They’ve tried 12 different medications and I either had an allergic reaction, the side effects (usually really dizzy. I use crutch to walk steadily already and low vision makes it dangerous) or they make the situation worse. Its annoying. Found this when searching for a term my neurologist commented to me when it was taken.

Hi! Thanks for the video!. I want to ask when we say that the discarges are PERIODIC. I read that it must be at least 6 discarges. Am I right?

Thanks, learned a lot. How do you make the spectrograms: a specialized software or maybe programatically (i.e. python + library) ?

Thanks nice. What about abnormalities of background rhythm. Like persistent sleep spindles after 18 months age is abnormal. Mu rhythm? 😊

Subtle distinction: Some patients with locked in syndrome can retain sensation below the neck. Still stimulating them below the neck won't be helpful if they cannot manifest an apparent response to the examiner.
