I was in a car wreck at 7 a.m. Hit by a drunk driver. Everyone advised me to go to the hospital but I wanted to play the anthem. After the anthem I finally took their advice! At 5 p.m. I was given a clean bill of health after a CT scan of my head.

@ I am a big fan of your prowess on the organ at FirstMethodist and I love the traditional service with the old hymns that I was raised hearing as a child. Prayers that you continue your God given talent. I’m relieved that you have no injuries! Thanks for replying.

The words to this hymn are fantastic. I wish every church would sing this. It is a hymn of total surrender to Jesus Christ.

Big shout out to the organist!! 😀 DUDE that's amazing how he can handle that 4-manual! We had one at our church and it's my age! I'm so glad to hear the choir and how much they/y'all remind me of my early choir days back at Arlington Baptist (don't hit me! Lol 😉) in Knoxville, TN. Right down to the robes! To God Be the Glory! Be safe and healthy! LLAP 🖖 😎

I was fooled when I heard the first few notes on this one! I thought maybe you wrote the wrong hymn name! I honestly thought this would be “Faith of Our Fathers” but then remembered that hymn tune has more than one name. A few years ago I was asked to use it as something on Pentecost Sunday. I think it was called “Come, Holy Spirit, Wind And Fire” if I’m not mistaken.

My parents were Moslems. I went to Catholic and Methodists schools in West Africa. We sang this and other beautiful songs every morning at assembly (with prayers ofcourse) before starting classes. Even though I haven't sang them all these years I still know could sing them all from memory.

Beautiful performance. I also appreciate the dedication of the choir, orchestra, keyboardists, and the congregation to worship despite the threat of a pandemic and the inconvenience of masks.

One commenter was pointing out the overly repetitive lyrics of so many Christian contemporary songs currently. Imo, the repetitive lyrics seem to be because they don't know what else to write. Christian contemporary music today has nothing on the old theology-packed hymns when it comes to genuinely worshipping. Christian contemporary music has its place though. Some of the songs and artists are certainly generally better than others as far as having less repetition. For instance, Brandon Lake--lots of good music & I personally haven't heard a repetitive song from him yet.

Angels from the Realms of Glory - BEAUTIFUL Christmas Carol Hymn “Angels from the Realms of Glory” lyrics: Angels from the realms of glory Wing your flight o'er all the earth Ye who sang creation's story Now proclaim Messiah's birth Come and worship, come and worship Worship Christ the newborn King Shepherds in the field abiding Watching o'er your flocks by night God with us is now residing Yonder shines the infant Light Come and worship, come and worship Worship Christ the newborn King Saints before the altar bending Watching long in hope and fear Suddenly the Lord descending In His temple shall appear Come and worship, come and worship Worship Christ the newborn King Though an infant now we view Him He shall fill His Father's throne Gather all the nations to Him Every knee shall then bow down Come and worship, come and worship Worship Christ the newborn King Come and worship, come and worship Worship Christ the newborn King
