Stock sounds meaty, as it supposed to be : ) why do you wanna buy a V&H and then use quiet baffles !!
@alphaomega71124 жыл бұрын
Well, some countries have more strict regulations when it comes to the decibels these puppies put out, ergo putting baffles can minimize the decibels and enjoy the ride with no law enforcement hassles.

They do nt live in India , where anything goes. Heck even if you ride without any exhaust , you may still get away. A civilized person is worried about disturbing neighbours . Im and Indian and own 883 with V&H exhaust. Frankly im scared to start up before 8 am and after 6 pm.

This is beauty. I recently bought one with V&H short shots and I’m in love with the sound. Quick question, I ran it for couple mins and I could feel the heat coming from the engine . The pipes were also super hot. Is it normal?
@Pablodwnunda3 жыл бұрын
For that model bike it is i believe. As it is air cooled from memory? They do produce quite a lot of heat

Could you really tell a difference with the quiet baffles? Seems like it sounds more throaty/deeper with the quiet baffles. I read the low end torque and back pressure go up with quiet baffles. So said anyway.

Damn Nice ! got a 91 Sporty 1200 as well I love that bike, had others but it is the 1st harley I ever had and still have. Just stage 1'd a 2015 wide glide a few months ago, big-ass free flowing air cleaner and EFI chip or module for more gaz into engine, Either 2morrow or Friday I'll have the short shots on that bike and it will not sound like a sewing machine anymore, I can hardly wait to hear how this bike will sound.
