this setup literally looks like my home studio set-up. :). Love it! I would recommend working on cable management, because that can be done regardless of budget. :) and maybe make a update video so we can see how ya'll have grown, its been 3 years. :)

My mixer is made up of 3 inputs on one channel I used the line for playing an audio from my phone which is the loop for the instrumentalists And the insert for the IME which enables them to hear the loop better cos is like a timer to them and then I need to plug the TalkBack mic for them to hear the keyboardist while performing from the same IME where should I blog that Should it be on the mic out of the same channel?

For vocals we pick an aux from the main mixer into an input channel of our mixer. We use this method also to communicate with the main sound engineer.

Good day! I have some questions I will be glad if you can make a video on them as soon as possible 🙏 1. Breakdown on how to run the connection from the main house mixer to the musician's mixer 2. Is it possible to have a longer cable plugged in from the musicians mixer to the main house mixer without the use of the Direct box? If yes how? Part of Reasons is because this direct box is not Available in my country 😊 3. When my all my Instruments are plugged into the musician's mixer, and all panned to the left so as to enable you hear clearly in your headphone/In-ear monitor; According to what I watched in the previous video you uploaded, my question is, after this process how is it gonna feed the whole house; the whole house hearing what the musicians are playing except the talk back, How? 4. Is it every channel on the musicians mixer that is to be panned? Or just the talk back channel? Hope to get a feedback from you soonest 🙏 Thanks in anticipation 🙏 God Bless. Please I will be glad if you can mention/Tag me in the the video or comment so that I can get the notification 🙏 Abimbola George from Nigeria.

Great video but one question, can we buy a smaller mixer and plug it up into a bigger mixer? If you can, can y’all make a video on how to do it?
@gurubuzzzz2 жыл бұрын
A much better way to monitor with headphones is to use the "send" output, then you can make a unique headphone only mix using the GREY send knobs, and this does not alter your master outs. You can look at the grey AUX "send" knobs as if its a second mixer....... I'm happy to clarify, just ask me...
@MWD1986280911 ай бұрын
Can you clarify?

@@MWD19862809 do you understand what the aux send does?
@jayqwanwearing39266 ай бұрын
Can you elaborate please
@jayqwanwearing39265 ай бұрын
@@MWD19862809I can explain now that I did some research 😂 basically the jacks labeled “aux” are just more outputs that you can mix individually from the main output. Instead of plugging the headphone amp into one of the main outs, plug it into an aux output so that way you can personalize the mix being sent to the aux (this case would be the headphone amp) rather than changing the entire mix coming out of the main output. For more clarification you can look up videos describing how to use aux sends. Basically what I did

@joashchechet1675 Жыл бұрын
I don't think they are using any amp for it. They just run it directly to the front of house mixer and it goes to the house amp from there
