wow, it is hard to believe this is listed as one of the games listed for GOTY, with Sun Wukong and all the other AAA games... It looks like a very basic card game.

Yooo, wasn't expecting a new episode this soon but i'm not complaining! ANd Lo, i have now attained the crown of being THE MOST USEFUL COMMENT ON YT! Kidding aside-- i'm glad my comment from last video has been of use, and likewise glad you folks are keeping on enjoying what Zenozoik has to offer, with both world and gameplay. Speaking of which: you are *flying* through the game, gosh dang! You're a really good player! Fair on not enjoying Mammoth Stance as much. All Stances are viable in some ways, different ways they operate, and there's joy in making different "builds". On Steam there's a thread asking what people's favourite builds were and they can get quite varied. For me, i enjoyed Mammoth Stance a lot, mainly for the Directional Dodge Attacks. Not so much the main combo. And later i discovered that you can switch stance mid-combo, meaning you can start with the first two inputs of Lightning Stance for example, quickly switch stance, and end with the third hit from Mammoth Stance's combo. Either way, Lightning Stance seems to suit you well! Muay Thai and Boxing, ol' reliables. Everyone seems to hate the Hornlegs to a high degree for some reason, many people i've watched play it are rather freaked out by them :P Really excited to see if and how you may try out and experience all the other Stances and Specials! There's two more totems very close to that camp where the Boy asks what happens after we die, with the slope downwards leading to the Brother's living place and the slope upwards being the road to Wrehgg (the mastodon boss). That first totem is behind a bramble bush, on the road before that particular campfire and tent. The second totem is a place at the end of this video that you only reached at night. All Totems emit a particular, somewhat ringing sound at night, to let you know where to find them during daytime. Whenever you may find yourself back in town, i recommend to hit the hay at that campfire closest to the entrance to the Zonectic Mountains. Super glad to see more people enjoy this game and what bizarreness resides in the land known as Zenozoik. Is a fun vod and the other people seemed to have a nice time too, which makes me happy. I'm a very big fan of the game and everything within and would definitely want for you and others to continue the game. See your reactions to what other mutants, monsters and miscreants dwell within the land. Art direction and atmosphere is *awesome* and i'm glad too that the story has been of enough interest to want to see the cutscenes through. Also sweet to see some Rayman fans here! i know exactly what you mean, with the Cave of Bad Dreams and the skulls acting as platforms. For some comments on the mechanics: - Parrying builds up the first-person mode the fastest. - You have a Run option too, as well as an attack from a Run. I went through my own first run without ever realizing there is a way to make Pseudo run. - From the Menu, you can see what control setting you have on and what buttons do what. There is an option for a lock-on which will make dodge attacks easier. For me it was the R3, if i remember correctly. Big one: - A weapon replaces the main combo string of a stance, but the Directional Attacks, Jump Attack, Charge Attack and Run Attack remain unchanged. The combo string is all that it replaces. - All Stances and Special Moves in the Skill menu, when you open it from a Totem or Training Dummy, have a horizontal line of three colored segments next to them. This indicates to what extent a Stance or Special "scales" off a particular skill. For example: There's a totem you missed that gives the Mammoth Stance. It's a bit after where you first fought Ekeke and Diogenes (chicken man and barrel toad), shortly before the first FIgurine Burner, and visible from the platform that has the tent and campfire. It's guarded by a lounging Cthenodont-- the monstrous prehistoric boar that Auga the Beastmaster has a unique variant of. Anyway, the bar under Mammoth Stance is almost ALL red. And therefore, gains the most damage + stun up from investing in Power. It's the pure ungus bungus power stance and has almost no Endurance or Aggressiveness to it. I forgot which, but i believe it's Endurance. The devs appear to have incentivized it as a Glass Cannon due to the sheer power-per-hit it can develop. Boxing Stance, in comparison, has a lot of Red (power) too, but not as big. Boxing's Endurance and Aggressiveness is divided in bigger, more even segments thant Mammoth Stance's. Multi Strike has almost *no* damage, instead having a massive Endurance segment. That's what Multi Strike will benefit the most off, numbers wise. (Also: You can chain the five hits of Multi Strike up to two times, for a total of fifteen hits) I hope this will be of use! There are so many optimizations you could have done for this seed during this run, taking better advantage of your Jokers and your Tarots to buff your Four of a Kinds and better arrangement of your Jokers, it’s almost painful to watch. Balatro was a different beast when it first released, though, so we didn’t understand as players a lot of the enhancements we could have made back then, so we were all greenhorns in some way. It’s fun regardless going back to the early hours of the game and reminiscing, so thank you.

I like the QoL change where the game gives you a tab notification instead of pop up when you collect new items or money from chests. Makes things flow a lot nicer, since the last version of YiiK was all roadbumps
