Not sure how this would work but senju is about 17-18 (no timeskip) and hermione is 17-18 in deathly hallows ?? For anyone who hates dazai for what he did to akutagawa, dazai gave him two options. Either dazai can give him and his sister a home and enough money to live a normal life, or he can give him a reason to live, join the port mafia but he also said that it would include a lot of pain and suffering. Akutagawa knew what he was getting into, and dazai didn’t know better. He was involved with the port mafia since 14 and also was involved with mori (a genuine child abuser and pedophile) who also made dazai eat chapstick until he threw up. And also, abuse was normal in the mafia. While it was not good, he didn’t know better and it was also the way to get akutagawa to control his ability.

i don’t hate him for it but don’t take the blame away. he still abused him. there’s no way a 14 year old can properly consent in any situation. i blame Mori for starting it, Dazai and Akutagawa for continuing it and Kyouka does no wrong (lol). don’t try to excuse away because it doesn’t matter.
