What am I missing. I've been driving for nearly 40 years and I've never personally known anyone's brakes to fail. Forget to apply parking brake and roll down a hill maybe but the actual stoppers... Never. Maybe that's a UK thing because of the MOT system we have.

Watch out for those seal remover tools. Maybe there are different hook styles but the one I used scratched the side of the housing removing a Pitman shaft seal. The pitman shaft seal is smaller than this tailshaft seal so maybe the angle of the remover put the pointy end of the seal puller hook against the housing. I have to do this for my leaking tailshaft so maybe I'll round the hook off if it looks like it's going to press against the housing. Or maybe there's a better way to use the puller by just hooking the seal.

The edelbrock electric choke works backwards compared to a holley. it actually contracts the spring i believe instead of expanding. I know this because my new holley came with a dead choke and i tried to swap my edelbrock and realized it wouldn't work because they work opposite of each other. I had to order a new choke. Holley was zero help by the way.😡

Hey man, God bless you brother! I hope this message finds you well. Been watching your videos for years now and just now noticed, you use a wheelchair? I thought, let me see his older videos and sure enough, the chair is there. My point: I’ve watched your info, so close that I never noticed the chair until today. Amazing content and strength! God bless you, brother!

Thank you for taking the time to explain this. My first LM7 truck engine I did, I just had the heads cleaned up at 5 thou which the lifter could compensate for. I also had a valve job with new everything except the seats, those were good enough to just re-cut. Found out my stock 7.400 rods would have been to long and give me .125 of preload. I also went with a Melling MTC7 cam.
